So what should people like us do who don't understand even basic chineseðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
I am not sure. If I don't watch on Netflix, the other sites I watch have Chinese subtitles. I think the Netflix translations are the best already...I have seen some of the English subs of other series on other websites and they're even worse.

Er...I have not checked on the translator's names. Not so sure. Usually I ignore the Eng subs but those on ep 12 were so glaringly off that I had to take a 2nd look.

I think most can still watch the show and understand the story in general. But some of the details could be lost due to the quality of the subs. So if you're still enjoying the show and not finding any portion confusing, then just watch on.
I'm actually surprised by the quality of the subs in this show on Netflix. Usually, the subs are okay.
I only realized yesterday while watching this on Netflix that the subs are horrendous. I don't pay attention to…
Ok, perhaps I shouldn't say errors. The subs are too literal and it can be confusing. For example, the convo between the woman who ganged up with that Yan guy and Mrs Du in ep 12 was confusing. Instead of using "you", the subs showed "her" or "she". At least in one instance, it showed a "she" when it should be a "he". Some of the sayings were literally translated and it would be difficult to understand what the meaning really is for viewers who rely on the subs.
I only realized yesterday while watching this on Netflix that the subs are horrendous. I don't pay attention to the subs cos I can understand the language, but gosh, there are a lot of errors, and it can make viewing quite confusing.
I was just texting a friend saying the same thing about Netflix. I hope they do this with more dramas.
Well, give it a try if you like lighthearted and entertaining plots. I love it cos of the cast and the story is quite cute. I didn't find the game potion that heavy but it was very funny. But overall, it's one of the better shows I've enjoyed last year.

Unfortunately, Love Games hasn't been released in my region. I kept checking it on Netflix but they only released Pearl Girl here. Even then, it wasn't simultaneously.
So glad they finally launched a brand-new drama on Netflix at the same time and we don't have to wait for weeks. I really like the mom in Da Feng Da Geng Ren and she seems to have taken quite a similar role here. Going by the trailers, seems there won't be too many angsty scenes...I hope. But really, the men in this drama all deserved to be slapped and taught a lesson to be obedient. :P
I really love Xu Qi An's family. They are such unserious people who match him so well. The brother/cousin is the funniest and now his wife-to-be is crazier.
I don’t care about anyone’s opinion on this drama unless it’s positive. The two types of people ruining…
When I started watching this, it did remind me of JOL, especially the poetry part. But as I watched on, this vibe wore off and I think this drama is shaping up to be quite interesting and funny. But I really hope the airhead princess doesn't ruin this drama for me. I like the actress actually but seeing her this ditzy makes me quite dizzy.
Why would an excellent actress choose to prop up a piece of wood? She lost weight for her last drama, which made…
Not a fan of LJS but I watched him acted as a pervert in one of his older movies and thought his acting was pretty good there. But have to agree with you about the failure to suspend disbelief in W. I'd to drop it midway cos of that.

Btw, the youngest sis reminds me of Zhao Liying.
