I’ve watched Song Zu Er in other dramas but i think she looks especially glowing and gorgeous here! The makeup…
She is not just looking gorgeous here, I love the way she brings freshness to her roles. She doesn't look/act like anything in her last show, The Demon Hunter's Romance.
Watched mainly cos I am a fan of Japanese Shinkansen plus I found out Tsuyoshi is the ML. To me, the plot is rather lame especially about the culprit and the backstory. The show is also not as gripping as others I've watched in the same genre but it's still entertaining enough. What I like is the efficiency of the JR HQ in the story.
Song Zu Er is great as Ban Xia. Those scenes where she held on to Xuan Ye or when she longed for him really made my heart ache for her. The emotional depth she brought to the character is truly remarkable.
At this point in time - anticipating episodes 27 & 28 - if we found out this drama is meant to end in deep sadness…
I don't mind sad endings as long as there is closure and the ending is explained. I would still watch if the story is well told. But of course, I would prefer a happy ending.
I really like the FL here. I think she is a really great character. So mature, not childish, with strong will,…
Yes, she's very likeable (and all the more so cos of the actress). She admits she's scared of demons but she doesn't act like a stupid damsel in distress. And she thinks rather logically.
That mastermind in the painting world had appeared in an earlier scene where he was looking at some scenery/scene with a wow expression. Anyone remember which episode?
Are they confusing the story with reality? Maybe the tension is in the story. LOL. I remember reading that the director of Lovestruck said JCW is so polite, he has a way to reject people without making the person feel bad.
I've only seen Xin Yunlai in this drama and In Between. I don't think he's the best but he's also not the worst…
His acting is decent for the role and it helps that he has the looks. I've watched him in Shen Li first and initially I thought his acting was horrible but it got better in the later part. He was okay in In Between. I think it's the roles they cast him. He definitely has a lot of room to improve.
