Wow, our actor is so sought after with so many interesting offers. He is not hard up! It's not like he's accepting every single offer. He has declined a couple of high-profile offers already and has more to decline politely.
The modern K-version of this is Tempted starring Woo Do Hwan, Moon Ga Young, Joy, and Kim Min Jae in 2018. I hardly saw anyone mention it, so I guess that version didn't make a huge impression. My favorite of this story is still Dangerous Liaisons starring Glenn Close and Michelle Pfeiffer.
Just imagine if instead of a Josen-type remake, they did a European-type remake. I would definitely be seated.
I can understand not remembering Sound of Magic. A light piece of fluff that was eminently forgettable, all the…
I didn't find the music lame. Perhaps different expectations if you're used to the Disney type. I usually hate musicals but I love the music for this one. They told very powerful stories. Also, it wasn't light fluff at all. They dealt with a lot of mental/emotional issues.
The point is, it's okay if the audience doesn't remember, but it's not okay for the writer of this article. She could have easily done a search to find out the facts.
That's why actors don't get married because of people like you, if you don't get the hype & chemistry then f***…
Prioritize careers why? Cos of fans like that really. Not just about priority. But hopefully, times are changing and we have more fans who are open-minded enough to appreciate the actors for their craft and what they bring to the role.
"This will also possibly be Ji Chang Wook's first Netflix original K-drama. " This isn't correct is it? The Sound of Magic he starred in was a Netflix original K-drama.
The badies in this drama are one of the poorest I’ve encountered in C drama. A whole big bunch of them huddling…
LOL. This is funny. Never thought of it till you mentioned. Indeed...they're all huddled in a sad tiny old hut! The production doesn't come across as low budget but I think the leader of the badies is just a cheapskate. Haha.
Wow, 2nd ML syndrome is strong for Cdramas. But sorry, I'm all in for our ML. I didn't mind 2nd ML so much until he started hitting ML's back. NO. And I don't like his sidekick too.
Honestly the ratings are so surprising coz the drama is really good. Reminds me of the story of minglan honestly…
I like this show. Unfortunately, none of the leads have a strong international fan base to defend the rating. Also, suspect some rated poorly cos they dislike the FL. It's frustrating but let's hope it'll rise above 8 in time.
"Ji Chang Wook fans are mad at me for pointing out the obvious. Do you see Lee Song Juk or Park Seoo Joon taking…
The fact that this person mentioned specific names means he/she is likely their fan. In any case, I don't remember these actors mentioned being offered multiple roles. But I did read that JCW has been getting many offers and he has had to decline some of them.
guys if u get over the first 3 eps its sooooo muchhh better the chemistry is chef kiss but honestly the siblings…
No. He has never loved her since childhood. Please watch carefully. He's just being cautious because of how she was when she was young and how he has always been treated by the household members.
and the audacity to say “subjective opinion” like have some decency. the whole world doesn’t need to know…
Yeah. I once made a mistake of criticizing one of the cast's looks (a side character) and was told off. Since then, I've learned to keep my mouth shut. If I can't stand someone's looks especially in the main cast, then I won't watch. But I never understand why we are allowed to criticize female casts' voice so much. I see such comments in almost every Cdrama. If the voice bothers you so much that it annoys you, just drop the drama. There's no need to come in just to say that. If the dubbing does not suit the character or it affects the acting, then yes, such comments are valid.
Are we allowed to criticize an actor/actress looks? If not, why are we allowed to criticize their voice so much whether it's dubbed or not? If we can criticize looks, then I rest my case. Looks and voice are pretty subjective. I personally find FL's voice suits her here.
Ji chang wook lets pick a romance drama after rejecting twelve
The Remarried Empress? Now that they're casting, I'm hopeful. It's fantasy and I would like to see him in that genre. I remember reading that the Koreans ran a poll and he was picked as one of their preferred to play Heinry?
