I think the story started out a bit slow, then build up quite well but by the last few episodes, they rushed the ending. Overall, it's not bad for me and I like it. At least the angst was minimal, and I like that we have a clever FL who is very rational and not stupid at all. Even the fox who was annoying at first turned out to be very helpful. The trust between the lovers and the friends was for me, the saving grace for this show.
I have seen Chen Xing Xu in The Starry Love, Our Interpreter and Fall In Love and after watching 3 dramas for…
I don't know why but I keep seeing lookalikes. This is the first time I'm seeing this actor playing Sikong Chang Feng. I thought it was Cheng Xingxu when I first saw him.
Seriously what's wrong with Ji Yang 2.0? Why are people complaining he's boring because he's not full-blown evil? Isn't turning evil just so predictable? I find this character very interesting (and sexy) because of the way he dismisses the demon that is trying to own him. A supposedly demon lord rebelling against the devil is fun to watch. And he does it with such nonchalance and attitude. I love it!
It is part of intimidating his opponent, which is common in martial arts world. Poor resto owner indeed but it…
Hahahaha,,,walk down the stairs and climb up a ladder. LOL. In the scene when BLDJ was leaving and the FL was supposed to go too, I kept thinking she might fly down from the 2nd storey but she didn't. She used the stairs. So yeah, stairs not so drama.
The 2 dramas he did last year were hits and Welcome to Samdalri was one of them. It did well both in S Korea and…
Yes! Mine too! I love it so much, along with The Sound of Magic. I think it was the format that turned many off but the topics they explored were very relatable and real, at least for me.
a great actor and of course a great son! I don't know why say his recent works were failures tho - lovestruck…
The 2 dramas he did last year were hits and Welcome to Samdalri was one of them. It did well both in S Korea and internationally. I think he was referring to those he did right after he came back from his military service, MMS in particular. I also love Lovestruck in the City and wouldn't call it a failure but it was not a major hit either.
Hahaha...that's what I thought too...your comment about gf.
Heh...I was more thinking of the line that some girls might not want a bf who is too close to his mom. But well, let's hope he meets someone who can love him for who he is and also get along well with his mom.
Done watching. There were maybe 2 episodes during their breakoff and their comeback that I didn't enjoy as much but otherwise, pretty good watch overall. Just that I can't stand the FL's wardrobe. What did they do to her hair for her wedding and black boots? YIKES! Make herlook even shorter than ML.
My fave character in the show is FL's good friend, Xiao Meng. She's the most sensible and real character in the show. I also like her bf's mom. The 3 of them are the best match.
Yeah, such a shame. The whole cast really embodied their characters. But this second season is just a bit weird.…
I see. I got the impression they cut cos there were talks of 38 episodes initially from comments I'd read. But the editing in S2 did feel a bit different from S1. Maybe cos it was done by a different team.
Anyway, when I watched the confrontation between XY and CX, I thought I got the story wrong cos it has been a year since I read the novel. It was only later I realized they changed it. It's not too bad but the way the drama played out, it just made me wonder...where's the loss? The whole buildup was really...nothing? Haha. I dislike angst but for this particular story, I think the angst would have made a more lasting impact on the audiences.

The performance was still top-tier cos it was after all, a continuation. But I think they did a lot of editing and I don't understand why they had to cut so much to give us just 23 episodes. The worst was until the last episode, I kept asking myself...so where's the Lost You Forever? They changed that from the novel and it took away the meaning of the drama title.
