At first I was sad and wanted to avoid their breakup, but I'm slowly getting bored of the sweet moments and need…
I find this stage annoying because of the different parties involved but at the same time, realistic. I actually quite like that they included this topic of suitability in the relationships. Let's see how they handle the breakup.
Is the ML weak in this drama? I saw a post on Reddit that described him as a 'doormat ML.'
Nah, he's not weak. Neither is he a doormat. He's a strong character who respects his wife and knows how to influence her to her own benefit without being manipulative.
That bitch WZQ has the audacity to join JX's bday gathering when she shamelessly got together with JX's ex. Ugh,…
I thought it was very realistic how they addressed this issue. She isn't that bad but I don't like her either. I don't really mind her getting together with Ji Xing's ex-bf but I think she should have at least attempted to come to the birthday party on her own. Both were at fault...she and Ji Xing's ex-bf. They should have been more discreet considering it was Ji Xing's birthday and not ruin it for her by coming together cos there was a chance for them to be seen together.
But then again, without seeing them together, I doubt Ji Xing would have advanced so quickly and be so bold with Han Ting. She wasn't exactly drunk then but I felt she was "triggered".
Xu kai's character is literally the same as his character in "best choice ever" lmaoSame job, same personality,…
Yeah, quite similar so far. I think both characters are quite the same so can't be helped. But I find him harsher here. I can't help but laugh each time he trips or he's clumsy. Like I wanna say serve you right.
This drama started out so well until the last few messy and somewhat ridiculous episodes. Good thing the ending was good. The only character I like from beginning to the end is Pei Wen Xuan. Seems that he's the only one who is sane and has a brain.
I noticed Xu Kai's dramas attract a lot of anti-fans and are always downvoted. Anyone knows the reason?
Oh I see. But he's still quite popular in China going by the projects and the co-stars he has had. It's not a surprise that actors/actresses have hit and misses but I noticed he is particular hard hit on this platform. I have no idea who that former drama partner is but seems the fans are hardcore bias.
Consort Rou has a weird expression all the time. It's like she doesn't know whether to laugh or to cry. The actress was okay in Joy of Life but here, her expressions are really odd.
I thought worst of evil was good? Didn't watch, but the general opinion?
Happy to learn that you became a fan after watching him in BR. Actually, the show that made me his fan was Empress Ki, where he played a loser emperor. His portrayal from a weak, cowardly emperor to one who was obsessed and insane made me fell hard for his acting chops. Right now, I can't remember if I first watched him in Healer or Empress Ki, but TBH, I wasn't too enamored with Healer at first and had dropped it initially. For some reason, I watched it again and appreciated the drama better but it still doesn't rank as my favorite.
But then again, without seeing them together, I doubt Ji Xing would have advanced so quickly and be so bold with Han Ting. She wasn't exactly drunk then but I felt she was "triggered".
