My god, the eyelashes on Souta. Mahiro’s face during their “practice” was great. So regretting his suggestion, lol. They’re definitely developing feelings. Souta’s jealous of Riho and Mahiro’s jealous of Komachi. She seems to be hanging around according to the preview. Hope we don’t get a love triangle.

Episode 4 was the best one so far. I like that they’re getting to know each other more. Nikko is still the weakest performance for me.

They have more chemistry than the MC for sure. It may be hate but at least it’s a strong reaction to each other.

I agree. I’ll watch the couples I like and pass on the ones I don’t. These shows are always a little silly and sometimes wacky. Who cares? I’m here for fluff and cuteness.

GMMTV knows if they just put popular couples in a show, we’ll watch. I know that’s why I’m watching. If I like the couple, their chemistry will carry the show for me. I’m just here to see them being cute together. The stories are completely secondary. I’m not expecting this to be anything special or noteworthy. Just give me those cuties and I’m fine with it.

To be honest, I’m not holding out much hope that it’s going to be great or anything. I’m hoping for cute and entertaining.

I’m pretty sure the director also wrote the show. The fact that it was the director is a big deal as he had all the power and it was done during the production of the show. To me that matters. I loved the show too and it was awful to hear the accusation. But again, it’s up to each person to decide what they think and if they want to watch the show.

Ok. I’m just saying having Japanese or Korean BL’s that start from the premise that gay people are part of society is a good thing. Yes the tropes are annoying and predictable. I don’t take this show to be a good representation of what workplace behavior should be at all. It may not even be any good, but I’ll give it a chance as a silly romantic plot and try to enjoy the ride.

I know COH already aired. I’m just not sure how they are related to this show.

I guess that’s up to each viewer to decide for themself. It’s your business if you don’t care about that and I don’t judge you for that. It’s an issue for me though.

Yeah their age is sometimes hard to tell. I think the straight to gay journey has been done to death, so anything that acknowledges that gay people exist in general is a step forward to me. Especially in more closed societies like Korea and Japan. The whole BL label is weird and I’ve just accepted it at this point, but I don’t care about what constitutes a true BL as long as it’s a good story.

I like how you have such strong opinions about this stuff, lol. I like a center part when the hair goes past the forehead and toward the ears. Like Pond in Never Let Me Go. The parted bangs in the center is just odd. He’d look way better with it parted on the side. I’m not sure the roommate’s going to have a BL romance since they showed him with that girl. It seemed very random though. And they’ll probably do something with the idol guy.

I think the actor playing Ha Ram is trying hard. But the guy playing Yi Jun needs to step it up.

Pietro totally deserves his own BL. I like that the characters know they’re gay and we don’t have to sit through another straight guy figuring out he likes a guy.

Yi Jun is cynical and rigid about dating and how he lives his life. Clearly he’s been hurt before or was too afraid to even try.
Ha Ram is going to challenge him and push him out of his comfort zone. I like how upfront he is about his feelings and what he wants from Yi Jun. And Yi Jun seems interested in him even as he claims he’s not.
I’m not taking this show seriously as clearly Ha Ram is out of line sometimes and the situations are pretty silly. The photo shoot was just ridiculous. So I’m just going to enjoy it as a romp about love.

Japanese BL’s are a cut above in terms of story, acting, cinematography and direction. They’re not much for PDA, that’s for sure, but for character development and emotional connection? They’re great. And they are great at quirky comedy.

Every week I’m surprised at how beautiful Inukai Atsuhiro actually is. His huge eyes just watching everything. I love this show. I can see them being drawn to each other. I know it’s very slow, but it is developing their relationship. They’re so sweet, I want only good things for them. I hope they explain what happened to Minoru in college and why he left.
