This series was about 4 episodes too long for my taste. I stayed with it because Pond/Phuwin are so beautiful to look at. The other couple were cute and it had its moments, but it was just too long.
If there were all these guest rooms, why were they all squeezed together like sardines? lol. And I guess this the episode where they got busy in the bedroom. So did Peem never tell his parents he’s dating Phum or did I miss that? Much as I love Pond and Phuwin, this series has dragged for me.
I love First/Khao and maybe it’ll play better if Dunk is the one pursuing Joong for once. We’ll see if he can handle that different dynamic. Interesting idea.
I love the Japanese production of this so much, I’m not sure how I feel about them doing a version. I do love Fourth and Gemini though, so fingers crossed.
initially, it looks like it will be distributed on lemino, but hopefully they release it somewhere where international…
I don’t know what lemino is, lol. I’d definitely need to see it on an international streaming platform. I think the other seasons were streamed internationally. Fingers crossed.
Honestly, I watched this for Mizuki and Sakae. Not for them to end up together necessarily, but because they had the most charisma and chemistry. Mizuki is an unbelievably beautiful man, even with that bleached hair. He stood out in the show for me. The main couple’s issues seemed contrived and didn’t ring true for me. It’s like they needed this conflict to make them interesting. Best thing out of the whole show for me is the ending song, Palette. Great song.
That was a pretty good show about a horrible boss and awful working conditions and a less successful romance. I’m glad he quit that shit job, but felt little chemistry between the two leads. The actor playing Hiro reminded me of Earth from 2 Moons 2.
Hmmm... I'm not sure what to think about this episode. Was it better than the previous? Yes. Do I embrace the…
Totally agree with you. The brief kissing scenes with Mizuki had way more intimacy and naturalness to them than Soga and Sakae’s scenes. Though kudos for them showing them bare chested in bed together. Usually male couples in bed are wearing sweatshirts and pants, lol.
SG "Palette".Japanese production usually put the opening song title in the opening credit, and ending too.
Hey I went back and listened to the song in the opening credits and it’s a completely different song. I’ve listened to the SG, Pallette song a lot as I’m a bit obsessed with it and that’s not the same song.
It's actually a bit deeper than that. They show open support toward queer fans and other queer artists, and they…
I did say they gave the community popular images and that it could be argued it was for personal gain. Not that I definitely thought that was why they did it. I do think their identities are important as if it’s at all possible, LGBTQIA artists should be the ones creating those images for themselves. Again if any of them are part of that community, I meant offense. I guess any people helping raise awareness and acceptance of the community are doing a good thing.
