So is Pruek the ONLY straight guy on the swim team? LOL. Seriously, they’re both just so scared to risk their hearts. Love is a scary thing, especially if you think you don’t deserve it. I know people think they should already be together, but they weren’t officially together by this point in UWMA either. They’re going to stress us out until the happy ending.
Tbh I really love this story, I do agree it is a tiny bit slow, but it doesn't really bother me. I'd rather have…
Also, we know they end up officially together at the end of UWMA. It makes sense that this series will end similarly. They’re just showing us what they went through to get there. That’s what I’m hoping anyway.
What an incredible series. I just rewatched it and it hit me so much harder this time. Every emotion was beautifully portrayed and every scene was important. The acting was fantastic, although the over the top crying by Bilkin kept it from being a 10 for me. I don’t blame him, I think the director should have reined it in a bit. Other than that, it was almost perfection from the soundtrack to the cinematography to the casting. Bravo. Can’t wait for the sequel to come up on Viki. Highly recommend!
My god, but episode 4 is brutal. The angst and desperation is heartbreaking. I know Teh is on a journey figuring himself out, but he hurts so many people along the way.
My god, it’s all in the eyes! The gazes, stares and sideways looks. They put so much emotion in those small moments. Beautifully done!! This first episode has more feelings than most other BL’s do in their entirety and it all feels true and real. So well done.
I think it’s getting better with each episode. I think the ML’s are finally clicking. Kimura Keito is still awkward in the part imo, but Yamanaka Jyuntaro is pretty good. He’s really ringing First look alike bells for me.
They did him dirty with his "office hair", he looks so much hotter when he changed it this ep.
He definitely looks better with it down. It was the same the director guy from the director who buys me dinner. 100 times better looking with his hair down.
First of all, I want a GL with those 2 actresses because they’re adorable. Second, I love that both the ML’s are gay from the get go. None of the just this guy or straight until now bs. Third, is it Keon Hyuk who is the ridiculously shredded body dude or is it the guy from the director who buys me dinner show? Other than that I don’t really have any comments about this latest episode, lol.
So, the ending was both good and bad (or rather jarring). It was jarring because there wasn't really a conclusive…
I thought the ending was just right. We know they’ll get together and it can be a normal relationship. Like you said, the guilt Min felt over shadowed everything between them. This way they’re free of that past.
So by the end I cared about them both and wanted them to be together. Disappointing kisses (what was with the tightly closed mouths?) and plot holes aside, it worked for me. They were both so handsome. I’m amazed at how different Park Young Woon looks with his hair down! He’s gorgeous and I didn’t think he was that attractive before that. Denis was the weakest part of the story for me, though the actor did his best. Just a badly written character.
well that was a nightmare and im honestly surprised i made it to the end... i only did it thanks to name... he…
You’re strong er than me. I dropped it a few weeks ago and just checked in to see if it got better. I hate the waste of Ja/First, but man Title is a beautiful, expressive actor. I’d like to see him in something not written or directed by Mean, lol.
One minute into the episode and I absolutely HATE Palm’s father. Ben is too weak for Nueng. He needs someone who is strong enough for him. I love how brave Nueng was. Ben is all talk. Pond however is action! Go Pond! Now that’s a first kiss worth seeing. So now they’re in love, right? JK. So they’re on the run now. Good. It’ll be just the two of them with no annoying Ben and Maggie there. I’d really like to see a series with them when Phuwin pines for Pond from the start. It would be a nice change.
I’m trying to not read mangas that I know are being adapted and will read them after. Though if I really love a show and it’s different than the manga, I have a hard time liking the manga. Whatever we see first i usually what we like best. Though the Cherry Magic manga had actual kissing in it and that was better imo even though I loved the show.
I have a hard time watching a show if I’ve already read what it’s based on. I don’t mind reading it after though. I enjoy seeing where they made changes for the show. Usually the shows that closely follow the original source material are the best ones.
As someone who had crushed to my teacher like Shintaro since 17 yo asian i feel attacked personally by this comments…
I’m with you. People act like they having sex the entire time when nothing happened! He rejected him over and over and they didn’t get together until he was going to college. In fact Minato was way more immature than Shin. It’s weird that people seem to have no problem with Vegas/Pete in Kinnporsche when their story involves abduction and torture. I really don’t get why on this show it’s such a big thing. They barely even kiss!
True, but it’s still pretty good. At least the actors are expressive and show emotions. Oh My Assistant was terrible. This show is a masterpiece compared to that.
OMG SAMEEEEE!!!! We've waited so longg for win/teams story and i feel like its so lost in the drama of the other…
And show us how those couples got their happy ending! That’s the point of the whole series! Give us almost all Win/Team and then more of Manow/Pruek. I’m even fine with some Dean/Pharm in there.
I’d really like to see a series with them when Phuwin pines for Pond from the start. It would be a nice change.
