That made no sense. Maybe the subtitles were misleading. Why would the ex ask for another chance and then hug him “for the last time”? That felt more like a goodbye than a new start to me.

It must be popular enough if they’re going to one episode a week, but why make us wait for 2 weeks for the finale? That’s just mean.

Could they drag it out more? I know Adachi is supposed be awkward, but come on! If the actors really didn’t want to kiss, then don’t make them, but at least have them cuddle and seem relaxed and intimate with their closeness.

Totally agree. I think Green is way to good for Maitoh, but I do think they’ll end up together. Otherwise, what’s the point of wasting our time?

I never bought the whole Shogun/Maitoh pairing. No chemistry IMO. Green at least is selling the silent yearning thing.

Overall I enjoyed the show and liked both couples, but I really hate the whole “wifey and hubby” stereotype. These BL’s tend to promote the top/bottom roles with the bigger guy vs the smaller guy They don’t usually show versatile couples or more physically matched couples. Maybe they’ll get there and reflect more variety of couples.

Loved how sweet it was. Wonder if there’s any chance of a sequel. Fingers crossed.

I hate Fern for what she did. I know it was a different time, but she did it out of spite. She had to know she wouldn’t end up with him, but still did it. And what an awful mother.

There should be a law that Fluke has to wear his hair covering his forehead. The preview for 609 BS shows him with short bangs and I still have PTSD from his buzz cut in OMSN. I can’t handle more of the same. Seriously hair people, make him look beautiful!

I just came on here to rate the show and even just thinking about the ending makes me tear up! It is one of my most loved and hated BL’s ever.

They’re making a History 5. Not sure when it will come out. Probably next year.

They showed so much emotion and chemistry in such short episodes. This series is more natural and effective than some of the long full length series. Really liked it!

Thanks for the info! Speaking of More than Words, I was really upset at that ending. No one was happy and having the ML deny who he was was awful. I know it shows where Japan might be as a society toward gay people and the show is helping try to change hearts and minds, but it was hard for me to watch TBH.
