I just came on here to rate the show and even just thinking about the ending makes me tear up! It is one of my most loved and hated BL’s ever.

They’re making a History 5. Not sure when it will come out. Probably next year.

They showed so much emotion and chemistry in such short episodes. This series is more natural and effective than some of the long full length series. Really liked it!

Thanks for the info! Speaking of More than Words, I was really upset at that ending. No one was happy and having the ML deny who he was was awful. I know it shows where Japan might be as a society toward gay people and the show is helping try to change hearts and minds, but it was hard for me to watch TBH.

I agree. I’ve seen the same weird still straight kisses too. In My love mix up, neither the gay or straight couple kissed, but they were in high so maybe it makes a little more sense? It can be done in Japanese BL’s though. MBM and OFC both had more real kisses. Maybe over time it will change.

Is no kiss better than the motionless dead lip press? IDK. I know Japan will be slow to change toward gay couples, but it feels wrong that adults wouldn’t kiss when they confess their love.

Probably, except apparently the author is releasing more chapters of the book after the series is over. I’d guess that if the new chapters and the show are well received, they’d at least look at a second season. Who knows?

I guess it depends on how well the show does, though some really crap shows have gotten a second season.

Ok, I rewatched it and a couple of things struck me. One, I can’t stand the body shaming of Manow. She is a beautiful woman with healthy curves. She’s not fat at all. Second, Pharm and Dean seem really be in love, but Pharm seems reluctant to be physical with him. Is it just cause he’s a virgin? I mean he’s got this hot guy and doesn’t want to do much more than kiss him. It just seemed off in the story to me. Third, I can’t help but tear up whenever I see In and Korn. So heartbreaking.

Not to mention his disabling personality disorder! I am really disliking the actor and his characters now.

Oh that’s interesting! So the novel will continue after the end of the series? Does that mean we might get a second season with Win/Team? I’d be up for that. If it’s just the side characters, then that’s a no from me.

You’re probably right, though if it’s that small amount of screen time, I still don’t get the point. I was hoping for more more Manow and Pruek time. She deserves the love story.

I also forgot about the Tul/Wan couple. So it’s five couples?! That seems like overkill from the author.

Anybody know if the A, B , C & Prince characters are even in the novel? If not, why’d they add them? Do we really need a fourth couple of characters we don’t know?

I haven’t finished the latest episode yet, but I’m guessing that the N texting Name is actually his mother.

I kind of want to rewatch it while I’m watching Between Us, but that horrible droning theme song makes me lose the will to live. Is anybody else bothered by it or is it just me?

It would be great if it’s this soon, but it didn’t give a year, so I have my doubts. Fingers crossed though!

I wish they’d spend more time on the other two couples. There’s barely anything with them. Why bother to hint at the third couple if they’re not going to spend any time on them?
