Title More Than Friends Spoiler
Just started episode 7 and I'm really hoping this will be A Poem A Day type of situation. They ended the last episode with Lee Soo narrating all these little things that led to him getting hit by a car. All these what ifs - if only they didn't happen he would have shown up on time and they'd be together. I'm really hoping the writers are showing a bigger arc, because him not showing up this last time is a non issue. Even if he'd shown up, it wouldn't erase the YEARS of rejection. IDGAF that he realized his feelings so late (that's actually a whole other issue that is so problematic) it just illustrates his lack of empathy, immaturity and selfishness. Even if he had shown up and they ended up together - it would have been toxic AF. I also hate that Woo Yeon chose Joon Son as essentially her back up. I would have very much liked it if she had gotten over Lee Soo completely. UGH I hate this because I feel like they're setting it up for her to get with Lee Soo and I hateeeee that. He's already supposed to be entering his 30s and he still hasn't gotten therapy or any character development. even if they do a complete 360 of his character (which I don't know how they can pull off because it seems so unrealistic) I would hate to see him end up with Woo Yeon. the only situation that would work for me is if they date, and woo yeon gets him out of her system and finally breaks up and gets over him. ONLY way I would be okay with it.

So I started this in March, but I couldn't wait each week for the new episodes so I stopped and waited for it to finish. Liked it a lot but it was on the back burner for me. Fast forward to this week - I came across Goong which was one of the first kdramas I watched. I didn't really remember it so I decided to watch it again. And wow, Joo Ji Hoon has come such a long way with his acting. It's like night and day. As soon as I finished, I came back to Hyena because I loved his character in this show. He did such a good job!!! I really wish they come back with a season 2.

Just caught up and honestly it's cute so far. There is nothing groundbreaking so if you're looking for something like Itaewon Class, you will definitely be disappointed. But honestly I came into this after finishing Flower of Evil and I wanted something easy and that's exactly what I'm getting. It's following a kind of predictable formula, but I'm not mad about it.

Title Do You Like Brahms? Spoiler
I just started episode 13 and read a lot of comments about being fed up with Song Ah's lack of confidence. Honestly, how can she be confident? it would be WEIRD if she was confident with her lack of talent after spending years among the talented and not having anything to show for it. She is someone who loves the violin, she loves to play and she wants to make a career out of it however she has literally everything working against her. She doesn't have natural talent and she started so late. And now she spent years training at a school and its culminating to lack of prospects. HOW CAN SHE BE CONFIDENT? I would be spiraling into depression for real. Honestly, the fact that she keeps pursuing her dreams is courageous. Having people constantly beat you down not only at work and school but at home for it and still sticking to this dream for this long is courageous. But also the reality is just that - this unfortunately for her will only remain a dream and that is setting in for her now. Her characters actions make sense to me so I can't be frustrated with her timidness and her being unable to stand up for herself because it wouldn't make sense for her to be any other way.

That being said, her being in a relationship with Joon Young is honestly crazy. Joon Young does not have the capacity to be someone she can rely on at this moment in time and vice versa. The timing is just way off for both of them and I feel like the only way this will go is heartbreak and maybe meeting a few years down the road. He has too much going on and honestly his dislike of the piano makes sense. but Song ah can only see everything Joon young has and she doesn't without getting the background details of his parents. to her she's probably on some level seeing that he's ungrateful? Ugh. I just want them to like break up already and have the show jump like 5 years so they can meet again with less baggage.

Title Flower of Evil Spoiler
I'm on episode 3 I love how the writers illustrate the irony of the reporter and the owner of the Chinese restaurant calling Baek Hee Sung a psychopath and treating him like a criminal. From the information given thus far, Hee Sung has some disconnect wherein he cannot process other's emotions as well as display emotion? So let's say we play into the obvious and say he is a killer - that disconnect could be blamed for his actions. However, the reporter and the owner of the restaurant are 'normal' - and yet they did deplorable things to Hee Sung, so what are they? LOVING THISSSSSSS

Just started - so excited. After I saw them in Criminal Minds, I hoped they would get another shot at leading a drama together.

I just started this on Netflix (after I binge watched and fell in love with Bad Doo Na in Sense 8, SHE IS AMAZING) and I think the translation isn't 100%? I mean I know there are certain things that get lost in translation but it seems like I miss a lot? I am in no way fluent in Korean, but I can understand some and I had to cross reference some scenes with recaps on drama beans and I realized Netflix did miss a significant dialogue which bummed me out. ANYWAYS I love Shi Mok and Yeo jin. I wish this was on Viki so that I could read comments as it played and get viewers insights into their character's interactions in real time because I for real die over their everything
