Title Again My Life Spoiler
Having watched 6 episodes, I prefer this over Flower of Evil. I guess I can see why you think this drama have…
He called her a Grim Reaper, and she told Hee Woo that if he sees her by Tae Soeb's side to not be shocked. I think in the past maybe she was a human secretly working undercover to reveal how bad Tae Soeb is? And she got caught and killed maybe and then turned into a Grim Reaper? Tae Soeb seems to fixate on girls, like young girls seem to be uncomfortable around him. Maybe he like abuses them? I don't know

Agreed, I think if they had spent more time on his past it would be easier to connect with him. But also I'm realizing (now I'm on episode 6) there is like a huge plot line I think the writers are trying to get through so they can't waste too much time in the episodes on certain areas. I truly am enjoying it, I am not saying one is better than the other because they are not comparable they are both amazing. Like you said, I just had the wrong expectations.

I'm on episode 4 and this drama feels very contrived? like even the background music is just corny. I'm really not hating because I am liking it - it's a really easy watch without depth, like I can watch this without getting emotionally invested and Lee Joon Gi is always pretty to watch and I love all the female actresses around him. so cute to watch him interact with all the different personalities. I think because I just rewatched Flower of Evil for the third time and coming into this my expectations were just really high?

his kids are the worst. especially cha gang Jae - like irredeemably so, he would have to die and reincarnate a thousand times as different insect species until I think of him as being capable of being a human being again. disgusting.

OMG I just saw this on tiktok and I couldn't believe it but it's real. I was just thinking that Lee Jun Young seems to have been typecast as this tsundere idol in dramas and how I wish he'd expand his range and THIS?! lol I'm so looking forward to this

Title The Red Sleeve Spoiler
I'm watching episode 16 and I'm crying so hard for Deok Im. We saw her hesitation and heard her fears for not wanting this position but it wasn't until she got it that we could see the realities. It's not a happily ever after - she will constantly be sharing her love with not just other women but a nation. When she is sitting with his head in her lap, and she says she just waits for him. Like she is reduced to this, and he will never understand (dude seriously his acting, is on point. like he is so believable). It was the first time I realized the king might love her but he is incapable of giving her what she needs which is why she will never be happy with him only content. This was further hammered home when she asked him, what if he was born a common man. The scene where she is waving her friends off, and her she sees her younger self joining them - I can't, I'm such an emotional wreck right now. Yes she loved the king, but she was never going to live her life or get what she wanted. She had to settle for the pieces she was given. I am so sad her her. She had such greatness and skill and she was reduced to this position, caged in this palace.

I really liked this - I'm surprised they didn't invest more into this and create a full 16 episode one hour each arc. There was definitely enough material and they could have spent more time building the characters

I just started this and I haven't watched the webtoon so I feel like I'm missing something regarding Ho In's glasses? is there a significance to him taking them off when he's with Ae Jin? Both Ae Jin and Ha Neul point it out and the camera seems to focus on them

Ugh this review is everything. I hated this show soooooooo much but I really wanted to finish it because Ong Seong Wu was so lovely in Moment at Eighteen. But you're right, the drama was a trainwreck, the concept of it is so dated. We have so many groundbreaking dramas with powerful female leads, I think it's crazy that this was even green lit. This jerk trope is just NOT IT, nothing about this was romantic or attractive. This was about immaturity, gas lighting and privilege.

I just saw Kids Review K-Pop Star's Career with SHINee. watching them made my heart hurt, prior to watching it I didn't know anything about them. I just knew Min Ho from when I first saw him in To The Beautiful You and I thought he was lovely. Watching them look back with the kids, to see how hard they worked and their passion was beautiful and then to touch upon what they lost was a heartbreaking.

Dude. I have always loved Lee Se Young and Jun Ho. But for real, Jun Ho is killing his performance right now - I am legit hyperventilating during their scenes. I get the whole hot headed aggressive, etc trope, but honestly this is the first time I'm seeing it pulled off so well. Jun Ho is singlehandedly leading me to discover brand new kinks - I MEAN HIS HAND ON THE NECK - my lord I near expired on the spot.
