I think you are right about Matchmaker Grace and da Hye being part of the conspiracy, but I'm not sure about Seul…
Yes, to convince the grandfather everything she does is for him. Her end game for the boar incident was not a death, it was 2 part - one that the grandfather trusts her even more and two to provide this as an opportunity for Eun Song to save Hae In.
She may not be the person in charge but I do believe all four of them are working together for the same end goal. I could be wrong but another theory I had was I think she might be Eun Song's mother? The look and vibe between them when they walked by each other in episode 4 was off. I was like getting complete Parasite vibes like she's the mother of both him and Da Hye and Da Hye has completely faked her background/family. I felt this more than ever when Soo Cheol mentioned her professor dad in America. idky
I have no self control. I wanted to wait until this show was over but I couldn't and now I'm in this DEEP. Okay so theories - The game Mo Seul Hee was playing with the grandfather is obv foreshadowing her ultimate plan. She's placing her people in strategic places to get her end goal which is - the company? The matchmaker is her person, Cheon Da Hye is her person (just because of how she didn't want her pictures on social media, like why?), and Yoon Eun Seong is her person. They're doing this show SO WELL!!!!! I'm loving it!!! I haven't really seen any of Kim Soo Hyun's dramas/movies, but I get it now. He is good. And Kim Ji Won will always be a queen, I have loved and watched her since High Kick. I'm so excited for the upcoming episodes. Park Sung Hoon plays psychopath so well, loved him since Psychopath Diary
wowww, I went into this for Kim Young Dae and Sung Kyung but I fell in love with Yoon Jong Hoon wow what a scene stealer. I ended up staying because of the extended cast they did such an amazing job with their characters. And all of the cameos, the celebs just kept one upping each other loved it!!!
this is like a crack fan fic come to life in the best possible way and I love it LOL I will watch Park Ju Hyun in anything. Also loveeeee Kim Woo Seok their dynamic together is hilarious. And I can't believe I'm saying this because I have seen Kim Young Tae in Extraordinary You and I didn't get the appeal but as Le Heon damn the sex appeal is real like the tension between him and So Rang is FIREEEEEEEEE its so unexpected but so good literally had me screaming into a pillow. I went into this drama for a fun time and that's what I got
This is very very very good like I am waiting for Monday/Tuesday every week. That's a terrible thing like why am I waiting for the work week to begin because of this show it's killing me. I love how unhinged it is and all the predictable and unpredictable tropes. Personally as a middle sibling who has the role of the younger sister and the older sister I can understand the characterization of Ji Han and Do Han. As an older sister, it is so hard to deal with parents expectations and be the role model for my younger sibling. Like it's exhausting and I want to quit and he can be so annoying because like LET ME LIVE MY LIFE. But being the younger sister, to my older sister I see why Ji Han is so hell bent on manipulating this ordeal. Endgame for him isn't having a company - it's having acceptance and a family altogether. Like worst thing for me would be my older sibling being far away, I want to be right next to my siblings. Realistic? No but I see his motivation. Also being in love with Ah Jung might be another motivation lol. As a sibling, you like to think you know everything about your siblings and when you're faced with knowledge that they have a life outside of you, it can shake you. It's something you have to mature and understand and this is probably going to be a character arc for Ji Han. I see a lot of hate in the comments for Ji Han but y'all need to balance the scales - Do Han is no angel. ALSO there is no one like Jeon Jong Seo - she is just so original to me in every way. Also Moon Sang Min - what are they putting in the water with these new actors. I have been obsessed since Under the Queen's Umbrella. His voice his height his facial expressions okay I'm stopping this show is amazing that is all plz watch
I hope there is a season 2 - I really enjoyed this. Choi Woo Shik and Son Suk Ku never disappoint. I feel like the second half of the series, they kind of set up to show the premise of a season 2.
I think like the other detectives thought she was dumb but her profile of Lee Tang was correct, right? She said the murders seemed to happen by coincidence which most of his murders were done without planning. Only motive being his sixth sense. Even at the end, she senses Nan Gam not being forthright. Despite lack of evidence she is suspecting Lee Tang is involved. I think the writers very much portrayed her as being intelligent, but they also portrayed her surrounding male peers to doubt her intelligence.
wowwwww Lee Dong Wook excels in roles like this - I forget how incredible of an actor he is. I know he's GORGEOUS and I love him in romcoms but I love seeing him in roles that really showcase his talent. Like his face is so expressive - he does like his dead eyed face but then he does the face where you can literally see the pain in his eyes. Like dude gives good face. I'm really hoping for a season 2, they definitely left an opening for it and it would be nice to see character growth for Ji Ahn. I feel like her character was realistic, like yes it's frustrating for viewers when she doesn't 'get with the program' and kill bad guys. But like she's just finding out about this world - her hesitation makes sense to me. Also, Park Ji Bin - really? Again? Lol, at this point I'm always sus about you and will 100% believe you're the bad guy. Also touching on people being upset about no one following the green code policy. Agreed it would have been cool to see a bunch of hire for kill assassins band together to save the innocent girl. But like once again it kind of makes sense they can be bought? Since they literally assassinate people for money. No honor among thieves and all that. Unless they're secretly dark knights like our protagonists
On episode 25, I can't believe I took so long to watch this show. It's so lovely and I can honestly say Yoon Jae and Hae Jun are one of my favorite drama couples. I loved all the parents and the whole story in general. They are able to draw you into a genuine family dynamic and you can root for them because there isn't any over the top unrealistic drama. Sometimes I feel like the longer dramas devolve into turning characters into evil mustache twirling villains and it takes away from the story. This drama is nothing like that, I can't wait to watch more.
UGHHHH Why did I start this before it was completed??!?!?!? This show is hitting all my favorite guilty pleasure tropes perfectly. I am crushing on Jung Yoo Min and Sung Hoon
I can't believe I waited so long to watch this show. I'm on episode 7 right now and the pure frustration I feel with some of these characters - I have to physically restrain myself from shouting at the screen. Also side note, how does Park Hyung Sik manage to make every character he plays so reassuring? like no matter if I was in the middle of a zombie apocalypse or had some serial killer kidnapping girls, I would want this man at my side. His characters are such a perfect mix being protective without like that macho misogynistic crap. j'adore Hyun-ah and Bom-ah
I felt this more than ever when Soo Cheol mentioned her professor dad in America. idky
Agreed the writers are doing an amazing job.
