ahh i have to agree it does suck when a show {of any kind} doesn't meet its clear potential. it sounds like the content was good but execution lacked; and thats a shame about the characters *sigh* well i'll still check out a few eps, & give my report!
yes! i'll be glad when i finally watch all of db series; i loved reading and watching yuyu hakusho and i heard db is even better so I'm sure I'll love it. the most i saw yrs ago were some eps of dbz where they stayed in the clouds for a month so i gave up lol

as of now watching legal high & liar game, then IHYV bc the synopsis is amazing! <3

no you're definitely not too picky; the ending was definitely more disappointing compared to the beginning, which does set expectations high

so yea since i was less attentive for the rest of nine, i didnt get too worked up about the ending since the show hadnt been logical for a while; my only thought was just that, as someone pointed out in an episode review, we see a shadow over the brother at the beginning but dont know who; at the end the difference is we know who, but that doesnt necessarily mean that anything would be different..the entire show could have been a loop of what was about to happen again. and i didnt like how the bro is in the guilt-free timeline but still looking for incense -.- did u have any thoughts about the ending?

Thats EXACTLY what i was thinking when she 'suddenly' remembers on her own. i was like you've gotta be kidding me..i believe my notes were 'the writers are really reaching at this point; thats a bit of a stretch/far-fetched the love was just so strong she remembered on her own' *eye roll*..the previous episodes made me think this drama was above that kind of plot device i guess not lol

and YES I DID THE SAME THING you described it perfectly; after like ep 8, i wasn't as attentive either; partly because i predicted at least half of what was happening and it was definitely turning into a melo; ugh. no more humor or romance or believable intrigue
but then suspense/romanc peaks in 18 which is where it shouldve ended

ok on episode 10, my question is how can she remember everything if she's in a different reality; if she's on a different timeline than she would be if she had been in nepal w/him? basically she's remembering something that didnt happen to her in the timeline she's on (i hope that made sense) im asking this rhetorically so you dont have to answer. did you have this same question on this episode?

I do like it, not quite as much as the beginning eps but im anticipating! ^~ so im going through so fast more to make sure i dont lose the continuity of what seems to be trying to unfold (revealing stuff little by little!)

well i have great news! last night i started the legendary courtesan arc (257) and its really good so no, it hasnt lost its spark (whew!) ahaha yea i was worried a little too; but no all the eps have been good it wont be a disappointment. i guess i was waiting for it to pick up w/more action and humor as it usually does, and sure enough it did ~v~

i havent seen its always sunny it never caught my interest, but i will check it out since you recommended it :D and get back to u about it. anything gintama-esque sounds good ~u~ yes a crude sense of humor is the best xD im always up for truly funny shows, esp after the office stopped. i.e. i love my will & grace dvds (squee) and truth be told, since i mentioned it, skip beat is pretty funny too~

ahh well i appreciate your honest assessment of nine since i always was a little wary of the time travel genre, only because they all seem so similarly constructed(i.e. cliches you mentioned) and like they'd have flaws, as you say, like issues with realism or believability. But I'm glad its solid; I'll definitely start it soon, maybe even today or tomorrow.

p.s. been catching up on gintama, on ep. 255 (skipping reruns/fillers of course). some of the eps were funny, but overall nothing too spectacular in comparison to the ones before 220's; didnt know if u had watched any either. ja!

ah yea sometimes my mom & myself might gravitate towards distractions when we have work we'd rather not be doing lol. sometimes its almost as if the distractions arent as interesting when we're not working. i guess its a desire to alleviate having to do the work ~^~ lol
i can definitely relate and i dont think putting it off/relaxing is all bad; sometimes with me if i rest for a while & totally ignore it, later in the day i might be more motivated to do it since im more satisfied from enjoying myself all day and dont want to feel too guilty lol BD.. but boring or tedious can make everything else more interesting easily and it can be hard *sigh*

i have to say i really liked b&w *although some of the melo towards the end was totess unnecessary (it didnt need it! ><) aha but omg the twists/turns were great; crazy plot it was enjoyably suspenseful and great development. each ep was like watching a movie; so much fledged-out detail and i really appreciate how nothing was unanswered w/no explanation. and i just started i do,i do~ good so far ^~ talk soon!
