Yes I've been in classes since I was young all the way through college, but havent had time since graduating undergrad. But its definitely a matter of time before I get back to it since I already have studios in mind to visit once my schedule frees up :D same goes for bellydance; its so much fun I miss it! Both of these are great workouts, but yes ballet technique can be challenging but in my opinion, it is the supreme form of dance above all others because of the strength and endurance it can build in your body, the great posture and flexibility that help keep you in shape, as well as the beauty of it. Plus the skills/techniques of ballet are found in most other forms of dance so learning it can also make learning those other ones easier. But just like anything we might try, if you love it it won't be hard at all :] a great instructor really makes all the difference too!

sorry for delay! thats great I'm glad we both appreciate good intriguing literature >:D its the best! :D
I think you'll at least [like] black swan, even if you dont think its the best psycho thriller youve seen. (I dont know that its the best [I've] seen, I just really enjoyed it, and the ballet element wasnt a bad backdrop either ^^ it made me miss having time to practice! one day again :) )
ehh..well unfortunately ep. 5 was a tad ridiculous, though death wasnt involved. so just be prepared for that. But I'm on 8 now and after ep. 5 it has fully recovered from the temporary ridiculosity(please excuse my made up word lol). There still isnt excessive melodrama so its good for now :] Overboard sadness would annoy me too, so I'm so glad I havent watched too many like that (Bad Love was really bad with that and took it too far lol Everything definitely needs to make sense.
talk soon! ^^

no nononono i havent cried yet lol (& skip beat & greatest love made me cry a little lol) ..its not looking like that kind of melodrama..i think it got that genre label because its dealing with serious subject matter and intense emotional motivation (but theres no excessive crying or dramatic screaming so far; its not resembling a soap opera which i would HATE) so nothing to worry about yet :D
and he is a cutie i must agree 8) no problem dont be sorry! i enjoy long discussions; character limits make it hard to say what you want to say in this box lol i love reading whatever you'd like to say.

yeaa exactly. i love anything that showcases/examines psychological factors in a story (like poe & some of sherlock holmes). makes for great depth and complexity and stimulation for noodle :]. the latest non-asian example i can think of is black swan. and yea i love the *creative* surprises asian writers utilize in their mysterious shows/movies. predictable crime plots can be so disappointing.
Lol she is a terrible writer xD though i havent read 'em in a while, i think i realized that the themes, instead of her writing, are whats addictive. i mildly enjoyed traveling through her amateur tale (i know -.-) & the settings & wanting to see the next sequence of events are what kept my interest, because some of the dialogue & similes were horrid. but the movies? completely intolerable.
yes! isn't it a great way to sink into a drama? 8D undivided quality time ^^ *high five*

im a hardcore oldschool vampire fan(bram stoker, anne rice, buffy, 80s vampires) so twilight just offended me lol no worries i cant wait to sink my teeth in muhaha ^,..,^
but the disclaimer is great; i'm sure itll help others u might pitch v.p. to, if they have in fact become sick of all things vampire thanks to those 2 franchises.
i watch dramas 1 at a time for now so i can focus and not have my impression influenced by any other drama
(so i can write good reviews ^^, esp for the current ones),
so i'm only watching innocent man :D Its good so far; its
not the kind of melodrama that makes you want to ram your
head into a wall from being overdone or largely unbelievable. Its definitely treating the nature of the story with serious respect. characters are all good so far too.I can tell a whole lot is about to happen and cant wait to see how it develops.
i hope uni is going well! Ja ne ^.~

LOL yes thats true I'll be careful; but i'm sure we all signed up here because we were already ill xD this site should be renamed "mydramaddiction"
I have yet to lay eyes specifically on a crime drama and I already know I'll love them. Just based on all the asian media & asian crime/melodrama movies I've seen, I know that when asian writers tackle serious, intense, dark subject matter, they REALLY tackle/go for it the right way no holds barred. In such a way that you're frozen, sometimes suspended in disbelief at what just happened, with bated breath, captivated by twists and turns, excited and desperate with anticipation of what will happen next! *exhale* lol i cant wait
I have liar game, city hunter, athena & ofc vamp. prosecutor :D i think i have some movies somewhere also; I'm open to more suggestions. bring on the dangerousness! >:D

the program I'm in is master of arts in maerriage and family therapy. In addition to more responsibility for my deadlines and being able to take less classes at a time, concentrating only on what i [want] to study has also boosted my motivation/enthusiasm as well. When you're studying whta you love, its not a chore & I'm sure you know it can help a lot :] so those 3 factors have helped me.
So don't feel too discouraged about what you're struggling with by way of study habits, since your studying setup might be more of a challenge to accommodate. what kind of school are u in & what classes?
I wrote so much just to explain what has contributed to helping me be able to manage my time and want to do well, and to encourage you with any tidbits and ideas I shared. I hope something I said can help a lot and make your studying easier! 8) Let me know ok?
aww 'll msg my email; send it ova! 8D

So basically a combination of a lot less classes at a time, in addition to me having to be responsible for my learning, is helping me :] what I mean by responsible is I am enrolled in an online university. With that comes the flexibility and freedom to decide how fast or slow you want to complete the program, & how much or how little work you can handle at a time. This flexibility and freedom that I'm so thankful for, that I didnt have with the constricting parameters of undergrad study, has greatly boosted my motivation to do well since I've been released from that stress. My gratitude has boosted my enthusiasm; i can enjoy it! Since grad level work can be so demanding, I've been doing my last 5 classes 1 at a time to get used to the work load and practice maintaining good study habits with this intensive work/material. I'm comfortable enough now so will combine most of the rest ^^

In general I think of assignments this way: If I have other stuff I'd rather be doing, "let me get this done so I can hurry up and get to the fun!" Kind of like purposely delaying a reward which can provide strong motivation.
Besides dramas, you can use food as a delayed gratification too. You can say "i want to eat at 8 so I'll be done by then; not only will I be free/done with my assignment but I get a treat too!" (i.e. dessert, or just the meal you need to eat lol) It makes it fun, and setting a time sometimes can help you see the finish line and give yourself hope: "since i want this treat/watch this at 8 and its 2 now, i only have to suffer with this 6 hours before I'm free!" Also, working when u work best, helps; meaning day or night. If you're a night person but try to work during the day it might be harder on you :(
You can goof off during times u dont work best w/o guilt :]

my last weeks have been good! been whizzing through drama after drama 8) between work of course
yayy I'm glad your studies are over! :D I know the catching up feeling; I wanted to catch up with dramas, anime & manga all at the same time after first coming out of a work stint lol
Thank you for the compliments ^^ Part of why I am able to finish early most of the time is because I have been doing one class at a time, unlike in undergrad where you're forced to do like 5-6 classes at a time if you're a full time student. (I do NOT miss that). So that was allowing me to give the focus, dedication and effort to each assignment that it needed. Knowing I could do that stress-free, I am motivated to finish!
What I can say is the earlier you make organization a habit, the easier it can become. Its definitely taken a while for me to build the discipline and anti-procrastination I practice now lol.

Lolll thanks for your support; That made me laugh! xD and I needed it too; been dealing with a lot. I really like your levelheadedness & appreciate it. I hope I was fair enough; I definitely wasnt bashing as my scores on the side of the review can say (I enjoyed a good amount of it & laughed a bit and omg OSKA *¬* *drool* ~ couldnt fit all that into the review space lol), just communicated my lack of understanding re: its popularity. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts, which I'm always open to; keep being awesome ;]
I will definitely keep up writing and will soar through innocent man! its so fun watching these dramas back to back; so glad i have the time now. I'm glad to know you're looking forward to my review; I will do my best 8)
any drama tidbits you want to share/rant about? hope you're enjoying whatever you're watching. talk soon~!
(and omg, i love that gif; too precious lol)
definitely disagree with everyone saying their romance/chemistry
wasnt strong. It builds up interestingly in the midst of all the
ups& downs of their inconvenient & unique circumstance. It isn't
rushed; the feelings that develop because of the situations they
find themselves are very believable and understandable. It feels real. When they start evidencing the care & compassion that different humiliating situations cause them to start feeling for one another (when the other one has had a humiliating experience), its so natural & happens very realistically. That is, excluding eps 9-13 which were stale..the romance and comedy disappeared & it turned into a melodrama -.-
But All in all, I'm so glad I watched this for myself.
Be careful of other people's reviews/comments! You never know what you may be missing out on..you may be cheating yourself out of enjoying a really enjoyable drama <3

cant wait to read it ^^ Keep me posted on if MDL likes it or not. Thats cool you did it in a foreign language. 2 weeks? i know the feeling but you'll be fine. :] hang in there! ganbatte! (^-^)/ I'm in classes year-round back to back to finish my program sooner, but I have frequent slices of free time between assignments since I finish my work early most of the time, and about a week between classes to have time for the next set of textbooks to arrive. Enjoying the little breaks & working in leisure time all throughout makes the work more bearable! So glad I can work & catch up on my drama-watching progress simultaneously n.n
just finished it; two words: EPISODE FOURTEEN *¬* (that scene was too hot)I love the anime, but this had so many parts that were even better; I *really* enjoyed it. It would have gotten a perfect score from me if it weren't for how they trolled us with the ending T^T (cries in a corner)..even so, I'm satisfied & will watch it again..Not posting a review because it doesn't need it; this show speaks for itself ;D

yes! for science lol YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY POST THAT ARTICLE I will read it asap ^.~ I love the labels you gave for all the types of kisses 8D
yes to everything else too. that's a great category; people definitely need to understand more about why some people complain about the lackluster kissing scenes. We can even go in depth about how the contextual sequence of events before and after the kiss can add or take away from the quality of the kissing scene, too (if we want). yay i'm glad u like KDR2! You can talk about this as much as you want, I really think its great and as far as I can tell, I dont see anyone else tackling this important yet apparently taboo subject matter on MDL -.- So we can add something really special to the drama discussion here B]

and yayy I'm 24! [high-fives] now i dont have to worry about being the only non-teenager here ; u ;

don't worry you're not a perv; what healthy young girl *doesn't* appreciate a hot kissing scene, nee? nee? lol i just think that *if* our ages have anything to do with it, its that we've probably been alive long enough to know what should and shouldn't be happening in a dramas that are supposed to be depicting emotionally heightened romance, especially if the chemistry between the 2 characters is off the charts. we just seem to know what makes sense and what doesn't. we should all start a club: KDR2(squared) =KDR x KDR = KdramaRomance x KissesDoneRight lol. I'm so glad I found you & tenchi who are like-minded. ?(*^?^)?(^?^*)? Feel free to use it! lets hope it helps others *sigh* ^.~

BAHAhaAhaha!! best comment ever lol. i wish I knew..its almost like most kdrama fans have forced themselves to believe that passionless kissing scenes are acceptable since thats what you get with most dramas you watch? Like, maybe their acceptance of it is a way to guard themselves against feeling disappointed since you're more likely to come across a bad kissing scene than a good one? *sigh* I have no idea..but its so funny to see people try to defend not only weak but *unrealistic* kissing scenes. Thats what makes our argument stronger. Every kissing scene doesn't have to make your blood pressure explode, but it *does* need to match the emotions and [personalities] of the characters. Otherwise its like 'theres no way they'd kiss like that in real life'..but shy or reserved characters actually *would* have more gentle, sweet kisses @u@
You're welcome! I havent watched it yet, but I definitely will thanks to your review ^^ and you're right its encouraging when ppl are helped by my reviews as well. I'll start keeping an eye out for Matsuda, then. I love versatile actors. Thanks for the recommendation! I'll add it to my list! 8D
