I still don't know who MB is. Could someone tell me who he is? He is "his highness" of where? Thank you for your…
He is the Prince of the Jing's mortal enemy, the Northern Qin kingdom, but has managed to insinuate into Anning's trust as her 'loyal' bodyguard. He has developed feelings for her, but Qin trumps feelings.
Changfeng plans to take the poison blood instead of letting the baby or his wife make the sacrifice. That is why…
The SE has both males dying. "The Black Peonies Soup detox process had a higher chance to kill than saving her.(ChangFeng) ". Ep. 19, 16:08. The HE has everyone save the sister surviving.
Honestly isn't' Changfeng being hypocritical?! He doesn't want his brother to sacrifice an innocent life to save…
Changfeng plans to take the poison blood instead of letting the baby or his wife make the sacrifice. That is why in ep. 21 the FL is walking the streets and sees her and Changfeng. The implication is that he is undergoing the 3 year detox to become human again. That's why he isn't hypocritical. It is OK if he is sacrificed. I said that it would be the gift of the Magi, but in this case he sacrificed without telling her. Some of this is gleaned from the "Thoughts on the ending," in the Recent Discussions box above. Spoiler heavy.
My understanding is that his brother kills people as a sacrifice but he was just going to transfer the butterfly…
The brother was out for revenge, but the Princess changed his mind about using her Kirin blood and he desperately sought another way to save the sister and also keep his wife alive. He now understood why his brother sought to save his pregnant wife. From ep. 18, it becomes more clear.
Thank you. What prompted my question were the following; The last scene in ep. 22, why does she wake up alone but smiling? The first scene, when she wakes up, why are her daughter and husband shown running towards her but translucent, like it's a dream? Haven't been able to see the eng. subs, yet.

Pretty nice. Unexpectedly, the ML gets a second chance in life. I thought that his best friend was going to be the son and was let down. With the reveal, things start to make more sense and the course of the story becomes more clear. Reconnect with his lost love. Understand why the jerk that he is wasn't compatible with her and how his son has her strengths, but needs a Father to inspire him. Jiang Yu's fallout with Chen An probably has something to do with not having a Father.
i cant help but getting angry of LCJ ,,, he is slowly killing her wife for her sister,,,that princess is too good…
He is having second thoughts. He hasn't drawn blood for a while and he is searching for other kirin blood sources. But the Princess is still failing. He is still obsessed with Qian Yue and now know from the Princess that she is a YLBL.
