Watch to ep. 3 at least. I think you might not regret it.

I felt strangely moved with the end part of episode 5. And at the 10-12 minute mark of episode 3, I really felt for the FL.

Watch episode 3 the tone shifts. This is more textured and at times darker than the first episode. I too thought the two leads were too pretty and it looked like a manga series. I am now finishing up to ep. 5.

I think that with the Father locking their savings, the Mother decided that she had to take her son and live with Wang as he could spend the money to help her son. The video implies that Wang is the Father as Chen Tian married her even though she was pregnant. (with another man's child) I suspect that Wenwen was abandoned or kidnapped because she was Chen Tian's daughter. Wang would seem to be the prime suspect. Perhaps the thought was that with the daughter gone, the Mother could make the jump to the son's real father.
it's a stretch, but instead of killing the girl, some kind hearted soul left her at the orphanage. I suspect that it wasn't the Mother or Wang that took the girl away, but someone connected to Wang. Had the two been connected, the name of the home would have raised suspisions.
It seems strange that the video was exposed to that group like that. The group of people assembled to watch the video, perhaps thinking it was like an amateur porno flick with either Xiaoxiu or Cheng Xu's love in it. Both are the same person, but who was the intended victim is different. Xiaoxu is gone, so why the interest in watching her video? Why have Chen Xu pinned down while they watched the video? That part was probably Wang's revenge on him for blackmailing him. They were all surprised with the confession part. I think that the Mother intended the confession to be seen only by the Father. Perhaps Wang wanted to burn her bridges by making common knowledge of her cheating so that she could never come back.
I thought that the cousin of the Father might be the rapist, but he seems too big. His face looked like the monkey mask, though. The rapist seems to have a slim body. Either Cheng Xu's friend or Wang's driver might be him.

Some speculations. What surprises might come from the DNA tests. Is You Xi really Wenwen, or perhaps the brother's DNA is off. How long has the wife's cheating been going on?

Sweet, cute, with heart. Looks like a sequel is intended. Will watch that too.

Saw episode 1 looks good.

By finding the phone, Park In Seong is by default the one person the CEO can use to carry out his plans. Making In Seong a temporary president makes it easier to do things in the company. He should have access to company files and resources, be able to have company personnel do his bidding and thwart any moves to take over his company. So it wasn't because he was applying to be a president but was available.

Seo Eun-Su was Sanchez's Veronica in Hotel Del Luna. That was a gut punch. Glad to see her having more here. Lee Sang-Hee was the impressive detective Yoo Kyung-Jin in May It Please the Court. Wish she had a larger role here.

Her connection was with the Father. So in a sense, she saves him. He was an unwilling participant but couldn't abandon his wife. We seem to be on opposite corners. Thank you for your thoughts.

As I watched Reset, I came to understand that this is really about the FL's story and her journey. She is the moral center of the story and she is the agent that finds a solution to save everyone. She influences the ML to become more involved so he had to be shown wavering and he provided the brains to figure things out and help provide a plan of action. In the final time loop, she showed that she was able to execute the plan to get everyone to help, by herself. He had to not wake up for this to happen. The FL had a character arc and she got the guy at the end. The police officers were shown in the audience of the awards ceremony. Had everyone been more fully developed or shown a resolution at the end, it would be too long, imho. The Mother's grief and anger was very painful to watch and I skipped parts of her episode. But what made her dark was the agent that set the whole story in motion. The time loop, and there is never a good explanation in any time loop stories, is a way for the parents to find resolution on their daughter's death. Justice was served, the pervert will face the Father in prison and many people on the bus will have happier lives. I hope that the Father can find a way to extract revenge but still not rot in jail more than he has to. I hope that he and his wife can pick up the pieces of their shattered lives after this.
And a crime was prevented with the help of the FL and ML so there probably isn't the same need to investigate like before. No need to bring down heroes. just my thoughts on your questions. I am not you, so I go with the flow more. Your points are still valid. Thank you.

She plays the Deputy Director, the steely eye overseer of the police investigation. She is mostly watching events. I like her character.

Love in Time is a lighter romance time loop drama. It is sweet and clever. It's a remake of the Taiwanese Meet Me @ 1006 (2018) which is more complex by focusing more on the side characters and is darker. Love in Time is another sweet time loop romance remake that focuses more on the ML and FL. It is quite good. It is a remake of the Korean Feel Good to Die. (2018) Again the original paints a more fuller picture of the side characters and hass the clash between management and workers. The remake has the relationship between the FL and ML as more complex and her arc is quite satisfying. The clash is between upper management. Her bestie and his brother are quite good.

I had the same feeling. But you assume that all police are benign. Some are not. There was the cop who catfished a girl and killed her family in the US recently.

It is. Smart writing and smart characters. It's the FL's show. She's the moral center and the agent for direction of the story. imho.

Reset is one where I can re-watch every episode at one sitting and not skip any, save part of one.

If you haven't watched it, Love in Time is very good and sweet. It is a remake of the Taiwanese Meet Me @ 1006 (2018). Like this one, the remake focuses on the two leads and their romance. The original focuses on the mystery and is darker. I think that which you watch first may become your favorite.
