At 6 minutes per episode, it became like watching The Road Runner, Almost every episode had her trying a different scheme to break the ML. Had they had spent 3 or four episodes on one plan, it would have been much better. It also became annoying to see the FL missing opportunities that she had where she could have shown maturity and learned how to appreciate the ML. Skipped ahead to the end at ep. 14 and was frustrated by ep. 12. The FL is a good character with strengths, but the story isn't written to allow the audience to sympathize with her.
The ML discovered an asteroid. He gave that 'star' to the FL. At the end it appeared for the third time, giving him naming rights. They decide to name it after the FL's microamphere, wei'an. That is also called Vivian in English. So the farewell is to the asteroid and also to the FL. microamphere. ep. 24 38:48.
Wow, I hope there'll be a season 2 because there's so many loose ends. There was a weird skip between events there.…
When the FL was with her maid in the carriage, she talks about looking for the second half of the treasure map in the Prince's residence. Apparently no one knew that it existed until the FL figured it out from what the brother had said about the father/butler. She used that information to get the Prince to switch her with the ex-princess. I think that the episode was filmed like this to have a 'big' surprise at the end. re Brother's promise AKA the deal with the ML. In the jail cell, the ML got the brother to reveal about the switch between his sister and the real princess. Unspoken, but that is why the FL and her maid is riding in the carriage, it is to go to the Prince's residence. The ex-princess probably ended up at her real family's estate, the Zhou Han's mansion.
It's pretty nice if you don't mind the low production values. I wouldn't mind see the FL and ML doing this again in a better funded show and with a written script. Re-watched it three times over a two week period.
May I ask why you dropped it? The stories for me didn't go in the way that I had expected. There would be a twist.…
OK Thank you for your comment.
There were some unexpectedly sad and for me disturbing scenes. The wedding night scene for the latter. And it was an open ending. Otherwise I might re-watch this.
The word that came to my mind in Ep. 3/4 was "intrigued". Dong-jin seems intrigued by Woo-joo. From his standpoint:…
Ep. 6 25:56. the look she has on her face looking at the ML while the office is in turmoil as Shin reveals his plan to undercut their fair by launching his campaign. It is not regret nor sympathy. It is resentment. The ML probably figured out that much from way before. He may not have made the connection, but he knew that she wasn't there for love.
Don't look further if you hated spoilers.
Sounds like Love Buzz.
