This is show good. The Secret Life of My Secretary is pretty watchable as a romantic comedy. Some funny moments and sweet moments. He is good, but is kinda overshadowed by the over the top Veronica Park, played by Kim Jae-kyung. My favorite scene, which is pathos with a bit of irony comes at ep.11, 49:50. You have to watch up to there to fully appreciate it. She is talking about what happened 5 minutes earlier.
whos her father? im a bit confused about what she does for work and why she met that guy in the cafe when she…
Her Father is the guy she met at the camping site. The bad guy , CEO Sim, at the cafe was asking her to invest in his exhibition, so she and by implication her Father are wealthy. At the bar with Choi, the ML's best friend, it was revealed that she already knew about Sim. At the cafe, she realized that Sim was out to scr*w the ML's plan for his exhibition, I believe. If the ex's family is wealthy, then the ML's mother might have had designs on their wealth if they got married. I'll have to review the scenes about her Father to confirm this.
There appears to be a medical problem involved with the ML. I suspect that either it couldl be passed on to his kids, or that he wouldn't be around to help the FL raise the child.
Cha Tae Hyun from Sassy Girl is sympathetic and plays Watson to Dr Brain's Holmes. If Holmes childishly wanted to get back at Watson for up ending his life. Tae Hyun is a single father living with his daughter while his ex-wife wants to get back together. He and his boss unexpectedly develop feelings for each other. There is an evil Moriarty who is often a few steps ahead of the hapless duo. imho The writing sometimes is not as tight as it should be. I watch it as soon as the subs come out and sometimes before.
Don't get me wrong, the show is pretty good, but seriously, what is this with Hanna's plotline? She is supposed…
re The brother, instead of focusing on the company, he is fixated on taking out his sister. The sister realizes her limitations (telling her Uncle why the arranged marriage wasn't good for the company) and will seek out the best. Park is recognized and Ah In will be recognized as the best for the company and for her, I think. The beginning of ep. 13 shows that the Uncle has a soft spot for her. He earlier seems to have said that she has a spark that the others don't have. Mebbe she will show it from the next episode. I do think that she should have sat in on some of the team meetings to do some listening and learn something.
