Good points. I look at his constant interruptions as part of the triangle storyline. Overused and low hanging fruit. I would think that it seems that Prince Yu will be the ultimate villain. Master Song is aligned with Prince Rui so that sooner or later he will become a target. Were Mingshu and Song get to close, she may be seen as a useful weak point Lu Chang and his family may become at risk due to being close to her, and or being the wife and son of Master Lu, and or by hiding Mingshu's identity, thus being liable for deceit. Also her relationship with Sujun, Prince Rui's wife could be a point of attack. Separately being linked with Master Lu, a supporter of Prince Rui would make Lu Chang's Mother as well as Lu Chang vulnerable to attack.
On a different track, I suspect that although Tangli and Mingshu will enter a period of being antagonist, Tangli's long game will be to exact revenge on Prince Yu from the inside. So they will really be working towards the same goal. just thinking. Thank you.

The ML is playing pretty much right. Try not to be overly jealous of the budding relationship between the 2ML and the FL. Other dramas have the ML be much more intrusive.

When he saw her staring and grieving in front of the chips in ep. 1 he understood that there was a vulnerable heart that she kept hidden when next to others, Offering a hand to help her get on the roof of his SUV meant more than she let on. Offering to swap apartments allowed her to escape the memories of her ex in that apartment. And of course the look she gave him when the motion sensor light went out. The Christmas decorations and the scratch meal he prepared in her old apartment really served to help expunge the ghost of her ex from that apartment. Thrice bitten and once bitten, it is OK that there has been no kiss even this late. just my two cents worth.
