Sorry, I thought you wondered if it was Gen Yin with the CP in the prison. My mistake for not reading carefully. I've seen ep. 23. The prison scene is with Gen Yin and the CP . She gives him the poison cup and they drink it crossed arms like at a wedding. It is kinda sweet, but 100,000 shades the sweetness.

I'm thinking the King, but ТЯЦТНΘЯḊΔЯЄ mentioned the late second brother. And in ep. 16 during the ceremony to decide the Xiyan CP, Mingju ,General of Xiyan ended up looking daggers at Yue Qin. He could be involved.
