I wouldn't be surprised bc in the book she marries Qingyan but its a fake marriage. And then she dies, disappears…
I'm thinking the King, but ТЯЦТНΘЯḊΔЯЄ mentioned the late second brother. And in ep. 16 during the ceremony to decide the Xiyan CP, Mingju ,General of Xiyan ended up looking daggers at Yue Qin. He could be involved.
Bodyguard Qingyan and Jinghe were fighting the CP in ep. 23. . But the final part had the CP knocking down Jinghe. Was Qingyan killed or perhaps severely injured?

Gen Yin said that Li Qing was a Xiyan spy. And the architect of the Massacre. Will Mei Lin discover proof in Xiyan that rather than a renegade, he had the backing of the Xiyan King and that makes the CP complicit with the enemy power during wartime? Is something like that in the book?
Mei Lin will take Yue Qin hostage (at some point), there is this photo and bts, then she will jump off the cliff.…
The film crew is assembled at the location. Shoot one cliff jump. Change costumes and adjust the scenery and shoot the second jump. Maybe I am guessing right, maybe wrong. With CGI, it won't b hard to make the scenery look different.
Liu Zhong knew that if he died he would be able to save JingHe and thus save the Emperor as well. I don't think…
I don't think she will kill him but betray him at a critical moment. I remember seeing a scene where he is cradling her still body. She can't get a break with someone to give her heart to. Concubine Yan smeared the antidote on her arms to take to the Emperor at the end of ep. 21.
He also says he doesn't want to know who killed his son, is this man okay 😭
You were right. In the ep. 20 preview, the CP used Xiyan poison inscence to put the Emperor in a coma just at Jinghe presented evidence about the CP. I'm trying to look for a preview link posted here earlier where the CP is cradling Luomei.
Not gone lie, the crown Prince love for Loumei is too touching, even though he’s evil you can tell his intentions…
He lied about allowing her to be a general and empress. Watch the deal he made with his Aunt at the beginning of ep. 17.. He also wants to take down the power of the Lin Family. The Emperor probably did the same with his Empress's Dejia's Yuchi Family. Ends justify his evil means?

He must think of his nation first. the CP is the best contender to replace him. To drag him down for killing his brother serves no purpose with no credible replacement. I suspect that to be Emperor, he probably killed his brother/rivals, too. He knows, what the CP doesn't,is that there must be checks and balances or the CP will become a terrible despot. Eliminating rivals just weakens the nation.
The current tragedy apparently started because their mother killed herself because of the Ji. That is apparently why the Lord imprisoned his brother and took his soldiers to slaughter the Ji in their Sushui hidden land. I'm gong to re-watch it but what did the Ji have to do with their mother's death?
