I agree and they both love Jang Uk like their own son. Maidservant Kim dotes on him like a mother and Park Jin is the father figure with tough love but deep inside always worried and caring for the wellbeing of Jang Uk. Perfect embodiment of mother and father figures.

Oh okay. I will need to watch episode 7 again. I thought the ritual was performed by all the mages of Daeho. I don't remember them referencing a Priestess or a Sorceress, but it is possible I missed it. The episode was pretty fast paced for me and I'm sure I blinked and missed.

It is a Thai BL. Actually all top 3 most commented dramas on MDL are BLs - KinnPorsche, Immortality and Bad Buddy.
I personally did not like KinnPorsche at all. I thought it was too toxic. Abusive, Toxic relationships, romanticizing of sexual abuse, torture and rape. The story line is pretty much non existent. It just seemed like scenes put together with a minuscule story at best. I am heartbroken because I had such high hopes for this show. A lot of people seemed to think this is a watershed moment for Thai BL but for me this is sad and disappointing and it has continued the toxic tropes that we have come to expect of most Thai BL shows. I really wish this was better. I really wanted to like this.

I watched it for Nam Joo Hyuk. He lives rent free in my head. LOL.
