They explained the history of Daeho. 200 years ago they were hit with chronic drought. All the mages worked their magic and Daeho received rain / hail storm. Ice stone was one such stone that came down with the hail storm but never melted and it eventually transformed from ice to fire to water to stone which came to be known as the ice stone which could be used to shift souls. Or something to that effect. I'm going to have to watch the episode again to nail this down. Anyone please feel free to correct me.

That was such a heartwarming scene with all of them genuinely worried about her. I mean even the freaking Crown Prince the future Emperor is worried about a servant. Even Park Dang Gu is worried about Mu Deokie although he has no romantic interest in her. So heartwarming.
