Need clarification - In episode 5, teacher Lee says that when soul shifters run wild they feed off energy from humans and that all soul shifters will eventually run wild unless they have mastered Hwansu. Is this a big hint that Naksu / Mu Deok will also eventually "run wild" because she has not mastered Hwansu?

Did they drop a hint in Episode 5 that Teacher Lee had mastered Hwansu when he says to Jang Uk that if Uk became his pupil then he could help Uk reach Hwansu level.

Has everyone programmed their phones/alarm clocks, etc. for AoS Ep. 5??My schedule? 5:00 am (PDT) - get up, fix…
Crap, I need to fit in re-watching episode 4 before I start off on episode 5. Let me pencil that in.

I personally think it would be incorrect to categorize this as "period-genre" because this truly is a combination…
Awesome. Yayy.

Not a period-genre fan! But reading from these reviews plus being a fan of JSM will it be worth it?
I personally think it would be incorrect to categorize this as "period-genre" because this truly is a combination of multiple genres - Fantasy, Romance, Action and Comedy. While the characters do wear costumes giving the feeling of "period-drama" their styling is pretty modern and contemporary to be honest. Also, yes, this is an amazing drama and so worth it. You will not regret.

I don't get why people are having sls, there's nothing interesting about him (except his handsome face) at least…
But he is so easy on the eyes. Who doesn't like seeing hot and sexy Oppas and Hyungs in the K-dramas we watch. Tee Hee Hee.

In what way ?
In every way imaginable? But here are a few reasons why I think the drama is so good.

1. Perfect combination of various genres which helps attract a wide variety of audience. There is fantasy, romance, comedy, action, mystery, historical/period.

2. Amazing cast. Everyone is perfect for their role and is acting their hearts out.

3. Mind-blowing OST - Every song that I have heard so far (I think I've heard three so far) is beyond amazing.

4. A good underdog story - Everybody loves a good underdog story and this is turning out to be a good one. Jan Uk is seen as the weakest link among his peers and has always been questioned due to his scandalous birth. Although at first he is not expected to accomplish anything spectacular, Jang Uk is someone viewers will want to root for as the story continues.

5. Great fight scenes - This is a treat for the action lovers with riveting fight scenes.

Perhaps Xianxia Cdrama, Love And Redemption on Netflix. 😉
Mr. Sunshine was really very good although definitely nothing similar to AOS which is what I think the original poster was looking for.

Title Our Blues
I'm sorry but that little girl Eun-gi was super annoying crying in every other scene. I really felt like reaching through the screen and slapping her silly. One tight slap.

yes agreed to @Kelly Santos answer. Mr. queen
I'm going to have to buy that Viki subscription, won't I, because Mr. Queen is not on Netflix. Ugh. LOL.
