Effeminate and BL definitely do NOT mean the same. If I had to play devils advocate in order to understand why some people incorrectly associate the two with each other is because we live in a world (or at least some parts of the world if not the entire world) where everything is looked through a hetero-normative lens where effeminacy is the manifestation of traits in a male that are associated with a female gender role. In a hetero-normative society the "role" of cisgendered men and women in a sexual context is to be with a person of the opposite sex. So maybe in conservative countries like China dominated by a hetero-normative culture, BL is associated with effeminacy and vise versa. But yeah, the two are not the same and it is a real shame that they do get associated with each other in some countries/cultures/circles.

I think the viewers and especially the fans of the show interpreted the ending to mean that there would be a season 2. But Season 2 was never in the works.

Hopefully there won't be too much excessive violence shown in the drama and hopefully no rape stuff. I draw the line there.

Looks like both Winner Is King and Immortality made it to the list. But yeah I agree with you that it doesn't necessarily mean they will air in that time-frame. I was hoping A League of Nobleman and The Story of the Bat would also be on the list. Oh well.
