ShiJie Absolute_Unit_Truly_Awe explained this to me. The English line "Shizun, pay attention to me" doesn't nearly convey the angst, emotion, pain and pathos of the original Chinese line "Shizun, lili wo ba". It gets lost in translation. So using the chinese phrase.
