I just started watching My Mister and it is hard hitting and angsty. It has one of the highest rating on MDL and I believe it won a lot of really prestigious awards. So definitely watch it if and when you can.

Yes, I've been on a K-drama watching spree lately. They've been very comforting and taking me through these tough times of uncertainty. I just finished watching Hotel del Luna and currently watching My Mister and also Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha

Yeah and that is exactly how I took it everytime Shootingstar_10 posted "Shizun, pay attention to me". Lacking context, I took the line to mean coming from a character in the novel who is basically needy, demanding and attention seeking. Boy, was I wrong!

You are right. "Pay attention to me" doesn't nearly capture the angst, the helplessness, pain, pity and sadness that the explanation describes. The explanation is heartbreaking. Sometimes things get lost in translation and cannot be effectively translated.

Does this article effectively distill the analysis of "Shizun, lili wo ba" or is there more to it? I read it and it sounds very deep and full of angst.
