Did we ever find the culprit who gave us hopes that the drama was going to air on August 20th? @2hamylife, was it you or was it your partners in crime @ShengJiang and @w0tErMeLoN? 🤣🤣
The obvious recommendations are - The UntamedWord of Honor
So my personal opinion is that the ending is a bit ambiguous. There are a total of 36 episoes. There is a special clip after the 36th episode. Some people call it the "37th episode". It really is not like a full-fledged episode but more of a 2-3 minute clip which has been interpreted to have a happy ending. Watch the drama. It is really that good. You will not regret it.

Certainly. About Word Of Honor .... The leader of an assassin organization "The Window of Heaven", Zhou Zishu (played by Zhang Zhehan), quits his position in pursuit of freedom with drastic measures. In order to leave the organization he performs an obligatory departure technique, leaving him with three years left to live. He disguises his face and tries to live the remainder of his days as a drunkard wandering the pugilist world. In his travels, he meets the mysterious Wen Kexing (played by Gong Jun) who has a secret, mysterious past of his own. Wen Kexing immediately notices Zhou Zi Shu’s façade. The two then grow closer when they get entangled in a conspiracy regarding the Glazed Armor, a protected legendary key to a powerful armory. The two eventually become soulmates instrumental in each other's redemption. One conspiracy, two soulmates, five pieces of treasure, twenty years of grievances, and thousands of years of Jianghu dreams have linked these two's destinies closely together.
Hi all, I enjoyed WOH because it's good. Also, I'm a sucker for redeemable super villains like WKX. Any reco for…
So, I didn't exactly see WKX as a villain, let alone a super-villain. Flawed - Yes. Villain - No.
I can think of quite a few villains in Wuxia dramas that have redeemable qualities - all of them in the Jin Yong universe of Wuxia.
Jinlun Guoshi from The Return of the Condor Heroes - He is the major super-villain here. Despite his evil nature, he was shown to be gentle towards Guo Xiang, admired her intelligence and had wanted to take her in as a student. In the end he even sacrifices his life in the process of saving Guo Xiang from being burnt alive.
Xie Xun a.k.a Golden Haired Lion King from Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre - Xie Xun's entire family is murdered by his former mentor Cheng Kun, who disappeared after committing the atrocity. Guided by fury, Xie Xun goes on a rampage to kill many innocent people and push the blame to Cheng Kun, in the hope of forcing Cheng Kun out of hiding. Xie Xun eventually becomes a Shaolin monk to seek peace and redemption for his past sins.
Duan Yanqing nicknamed "Overflowing with Evil" from Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils - He is one of the Four Evils which is a gang of four that amongst themselves kidnap and kill little babies, preys on young women, kills people, etc. In the end he becomes a recluse.
Why reviews are so negative ? I've never watched previous versions before nor read the novel. After reading comments…
I know right. Lot of negative haters on here for this drama. Like really vicious. I don't understand if people have nothing nice to say, why do they say anything at all?
