I think you are missing the point. I'm not saying he wasn't getting treatment. He very well may have been getting treatment and that is a good thing. But that does not absolve him of his obligation to share his STI status with his sexual partner. They have a right to know, regardless of whether he was getting treatment or not or using a condom or not. It is very simple - If you're carrying a STI, then the person you are having sex with has a right to know that regardless of whether that person is just a casual one night stand or your lawfully wedded spouse.
I'm shocked by your response that "it's no problem if you use condom". You are straight up suggesting that if a person is carrying STDs/STIs then as long as they use a condom then they have no obligation to share their STI/STD status with the person they are having sex with. I find that appalling for a couple of reasons.
First - Yes, condoms are effective in preventing STIs, but only if they are used correctly every time. Also, breakage, tearing and ripping in condoms is common and hence they are far from 100% effective.
Second - Anyone who has STDs has the obligation to share their status with anyone they have sex with. Your sexual partner has a right to know whether you carry an STD/STI regardless of whether you use a condom or not. Using a condom cannot be a reason for anyone to justify hiding and lying about their STI status.
Was it just me or are there others who are bothered that the ML Go Young did not disclose his HIV status to his prior boyfriends before Gyu Ho? I find that extremely troubling to be honest. If anyone has any STD I feel there has to be a moral obligation to disclose that STD status to your sexual partner.
