I needed more than 3 week to watch this, when I usually binge-watch in a couple of days a finished show. This dragged and dragged and dragged and was not realistic at all: getting beaten near death and after 2 days gets up and beats up a lot of people. In real life a person needs a month the least but here swelling, deep cuts, gun shots heal almost the next day. Just give a realistic time-skip, how hard is it?!
The actor were good but the script... Sometimes watching the pain dry was more interesting than watching this show. 6.5/10

An seriously, the empress dowager who is the cause of the whole suffering, just says that the imposter was more deserving of the throne and that is it??? She is the whole reason 3 royal families died. And she gets pardoned by everybody. Give me a f*cking break!!!!

I gave this drama a rating of 7.5. Had the ending been better and the villain got more suffering, I would have rated it higher. But a 5 second " I regret it" is not enough. The cases were meh for me as I found them predictable or the actors in the background gave them away as who the villain was (actors that I saw in other dramas that can't JUST cameo in this one :) ).

Why did people get their knickers in a twist over this show?! especially in some reviews. It was entertaining,…
"overall a nice ride" is exactly the reason why some people ( myself included) complain about this show. Because the show had potential to be great and it started that way but then it was "a nice ride", not a "great ride." When you see someone/something missing his potential you feel bad and complain about it, it's human nature.

The first episodes got me hooked. I watched 6 episodes one after the other. But midway I had a difficult time convincing myself not to skip scenes and that continued until the very end.
It started so goooood but then went down in flames.
I like the actors, the background but around episode 20 I just got bored. A better writer could have made this a great drama. 7.5/10

Have you seen Are You the One? Bad people pay for their sins in that one.
I've seen it. Not satisfied. I need to see the main villains suffer more time and a real suffering. I really don't like to see 23-24 hours of a show in which the main characters and support characters suffer 24/7 and the villain in punished 3 minutes maximum in the last episode.

I know that her focus is on reality TV (and I hate that she sames very fake on the TV shows like that stupid dating show she is in) but if she takes a drama, why is it now hard for her to read the script and take a good one???

Can Lee Da Hee take a drama that is worth taking that shows her acting skills? Not that this was very bad but her dramas from 2022 till today are only watchable at best, nothing memorable.
I don't know but I enjoyed parts of this drama. But something went astray towards the end. Had potential but the writers cooked the plot for to long and at the end ruined the whole dish. 7/10

I found season 2 slightly better than season 1 but still not satisfied at the end of the overall drama (season 1+2). Main villain not punished enough, some draggy parts (her mother's history etc) and a couple of deus et machina. Music was great and made the scenes more impactful, actors were great, background very nice. But why oh why can't I see an eastern show were the enemy gets everything what it deserves?! They suffer their downfall but they ALMOST never suffer the same intensity as the people they have wronged.

Why would the story reset in the last episodes since even in the original story they die? I don't get it.
