It wanted to be more than it deserves. It is almost like a game where you level up and you find out new things but it is so messy that my head is spinning.
This won't/shouldn't have a happy ending. I really don't see how. So far is not a bad drama. I enjoy it. But I will wait until it is finished since I don't like to wait 1 day for 10-15 minutes of watch time.
I don't get the pregnancy and all and let's say the beginning was a little hard to get over but after that it was ok. For the first half that is, cause the second half was written by a 12 years old girl with all the drama and misunderstandings. Finally a show with no drop-dead actors and actresses (closer to reality, easier to get into for me) but the writing was all over the place.
A decent funny show but how each couples' story unfolds was like watching a separate series. 5 part series. They could have intertwined the stories better. I liked the characters but sometimes they become overbearing. And sometimes the writers wanted to be funny with things that I don't find at all funny (violence in a relationship, manipulating ones' partner or bowing to your loved one and living in fear).
Dropped it, then started again and finished it. Last part was so stupid. The final villain was so forced... almost made me laugh. And the decree to kill FL... are you kidding me?! And then we have the ending open for interpretation. 53 episodes that could have been done in 26 and be happy about it.
No plans of watching this so am just curious to know what happens at the end ? Can you pls spoil for me ?
In short, everybody gets a happy ending (none of them deserve one) . The man gets his woman back, the trapped woman gets out and is back with the man but also keeps the other woman (who trapped her) trapped inside now as a lover (who agrees to be trapped inside).
imagine agreeing to go nude for a movie only for it to flop… I feel bad for the actors
Keep in mind that the film was made in 2022, when Ji Hyun was not really a well-known person, not that she is well-known now since people now know of her but she is not a name to bring in money. Cho Yeo Jung is a niche actress, not a mainstream one. And Song Seung Heon is not a fan-favorite since many remember how he lied just to not serve in the army. So why feel bad for them? They got their money, did their job and that is that. Remember that they picked this movie, they were not forced to do it.

Infuriating ending (seriously what the actually hell), nudity only to sell tickets, weaker than the original (the Spanish one). The characters in the original are believable throughout the movie and you understand and sympathize with them most of the time, here there are some twists only for the sake of shocking, character wise. If they all would have died at the end it wouldn't have been a tragedy. Actually, I would have preferred it. For me, as a man, this was like a high-end porn movie, as it had prolonged nudity as porn movies do and it had some kind of story. So not your typical B grade porn movie. But as a movie-movie ... man it was weak and useless waste of time.
Aha. Chinese complaining about copyright concepts. When they copy from the West is ok (see cars design etc), now that someone copied makeup from a history book is not ok. Make-up ?! Really?! If I paint my face black and white and somebody copies me, can I really sue and win money??? It's ridiculous.
Over-rated rating for this show. Started good but half-way through it become sh*t. Everybody is making stupid decisions. People who should be above the average Joe (smart wise) make decisions like they are in kindergarten. And how the hell can a woman say "he made me think I was pregnant"?! Don't waste your time on this.
Finally, somebody that says/write the truth. It is beyond me how some nice series have 8+ score (close to 9), while some above average are below 8. I guess that fans of the actor keeping pushing the score up.
I find both of them better than Blossom. Blossom is full of flaws. Characters that are smart start to act dumb only for the story to move forward to the end that the writers wanted. PS: I would recommend Story of Kunning Palace (for me that is the nr 1 CDrama to date)
How does this show have such a big score??? The actors were ok but the writing... For some episodes you have to be brain-dead. It were so stupid that I thought about dropping the show. Waste of actors. Were the writers threatened by someone to write it so??? The premise was good but the execution was horrible.
