Thank you for that... I put off watching it tonight because of the rage I felt for this show after 25.

I'm so frustrated with this show right now. I was struggling watching the show as it was because it was lagging and the writers idea of "intrigue" was not so intriguing to me. I was in it for In Sang and Seo Bom, but now this whole mess has me wanting to jump ship. Not to mention that I want to put a fist through In Sang's parents faces. They don't think of anyone but themselves and how things will look/benefit them. I detest them. Seo Bom's sister is just a plain selfish wench. I personally don't blame Seo Bom for leaving, but she should have done it sooner or not at all. Poor In Sang is stuck between a rock and a hard place. He's not quite a man, but more than a boy. Ugh... There's so much going on, but not much of it is good. I'll watch 26 and see how I feel, but I'm not too optimistic.

About the phone thing. Maybe taking out the battery is the Korean modern day equivilant of slamming the phone…
Exactly how I think of it!!

I think that KHJ is pretty and I actually like his acting and singing... I typically try not to get emotionally involved with celebrity life stories and whatnot, but his was just right there in your face, you know? Now it kinda pops out every time I see him. Honestly, none of us know the real story of what actually happened between them. There's proof of this and there's doubt about that. It is what it is. My issues stem from this: IF he did beat her and she still hooked up with him after reporting him to the police, shame on her. IF he didn't beat her and he still hooked up with her after she reported him, shame on him. I can't see him without thinking that any relationship like that is just toxic for both parties and I wonder at the mental state that they both must be in... Sadly, it took away a lot of his appeal for me. *sighs sadly*

I can't believe I'm watching this! I am way too old for this drama, but I can't help it. It's so adorable. Awwwww…
Ahahahahahaha!! As Joon Hyung said, "If you're old, I'm a corpse!" I'm 37 and I'm LOVING this!! <3

Lol!! I appreciate a "trashy" drama every now an again, myself! :D I just can't get past the things that I don't like with this one. I dropped it, which is extremely difficult for me to do. Everyone has their own likes and dislikes, right? You like this? Good! I'm seriously glad! I want to see all the actors in other shows and if they don't get the ratings, they won't be cast. I just can't watch it... I tried. I really did. ^_^

"Drop your weapon or I'll let the villagers kill you." ~ Wang So

"I don't want to, but okay." ~ Wang Shik Ryum

I don't understand why he became obsessed with taking down Chungdae Village. *smh*

As for the relationship thing? I just can't. Nope. I get that it's good to mix things up, but honestly, this one just irked me. I don't want a "realistic" (it's not really) ending with my leads in dramaland. I watch these for the fantasy. For the happily ever afters. Life is full of disappointments. I use these shows to escape, not to get depressed and/or annoyed. If I wanted realistic or reasons to cry, I'd go and watch a melo. Which I won't. At least not on purpose. LOL!

Right now, I'm in this boat... Since Healer and Kill Me, Heal Me ended I've been pretty unimpressed with what I'm watching. I don't hate the shows, but I'm not biting my nails excited for the next episodes either. *sigh* I hop around from K-dramas to Japanese and a few Thai ones, but still... Not much I'm loving. I've started trying to hit up some of the finished dramas on my "to watch" list and I've been rewatching my faves. I hope that something spectacular pops up soon though!! *crosses fingers*

I agree with your review... I couldn't even finish it. I only made it up to episode 14 or 15.

If it got cut to 7 episodes I hope they tie up loose ends with that weird student-girl of Yui's - I always wonder…
After the 5th episode I'm thinking that she's in love with Yui...

So many people are loving this... I don't get it. Not that I don't get the show. I don't get how people are liking it. I'm on episode 7 and I'm still struggling through each episode. I'm not saying that everyone that likes it is wrong or anything, but I'm just not getting the emotional connection the to characters. There's no real angst at all. I don't really care about what happens to anyone in it. I feel like the writers may have dropped the ball on their character development. *shrugs* People are saying that episode 8 is amazing, so I'll watch till then and see what happens, but if I'm not as impressed this may be one of the very few shows I drop.

There is absolutely NO tension or angst to be had anywhere with this drama... I'm bored almost EVERY episode. And I'm not going to go off on the acting, which in some cases could be better. My issues are with the script. It's pretty bad. UGH! I want to drop it, but I have a really hard time doing that. I'll just keep going and regret it later, as I have with a few other dramas I forced myself to finish. *sigh*

Just got to episode 6... Acting is good, but this show is like a warning label about women. We know we tend to overthink things, but Aoishi takes it to a WHOLE new level of crazy. That's the most frustrating thing about this show. Otherwise, I'm really enjoying it. ^_^
