Wow! This show has turned out much better than I thought it would. At times, it is just heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time, because you already know the fate of Korn and In. That first episode was a shocker!!!
Well it turns out that M actually WAS an a-hole, making Pun be a fake boyfriend role to get back at his brother. But, it appears that he may have actually had some feelings for Pun, even though Pun was still in love with P'Sib. I would've like to have seen a little more story about the reason Pun left for China. I know we could guess, but it still would've made for a better storyline. Also, there was any info given as to why Pun returned to Thailand after (3) years??? I guess that will left to I Am Your King 3?
Not sure how much you've seen, but M started out as an a-hole but then quickly redeemed himself. He loves Pun…
Pun and M only "slept" (sleeping) in the same bed (why, no one knows). But, Pun and Sib actually "slept" together (had sex). Remember, both stated that they first time "they did that" with a man.
Now later in the following episode, where Sib sees M leave Pun's condo getting himself dressed, you really don't know what happened there, unless there are more revelations in the novel (which I haven't read).
I'm sorry. But, the ending sucked! They didn't need 20 episodes of come up with that ending...! Oh well! Maybe the next HIStory 4 will have a better ending.
I just watched Ep. 6... wow, loved it!I feel kind of torn, as to what I really think about this series. Definitely,…
Synchronicity, I made similar comments. But, for some reason they do not appear in these threads. But, as usual, I agree with you. I, two like the quality of the performances. I just still have issue with theses "traumatic rape turned to hatred, tuned to sudden desire and love (often with the abuser or person who is the target of the hatred) tropes" used so often in these BL dramas.
I'm sorry. I just don't get it???? I realize it's in the novel, and I realize the novel is written by women who may or may not know anything about gay relationships. But, really??? Type is raped by someone he knew and trusted, and then supposedly hates all gay people. That, I could see happening. Then he begins rooming with a gay male (who's out and confident about his sexuality). They then begin the love /hate trope, and then finally Type admits he's in love with Tharn. OK I can see the hate - to - love trope in action. BUT, at what point in this tale were we ever given the idea the Type was even gay???? Now, he may have been gay all along -- but, that's never revealed in either the novel or in LBC. And, if that isn't enough of a question, Type now CAN'T sleep with women and is a "bottom" in his relationship with Tharn!!! Now, where did that all come from??? Now, I know for all those fans wishing Type and Tharne a very happy ending, I'm right there with you. I wish for a happy ending too. But, I just wish that the author of the novel, and then the director and writers of TharnType the Series would just at least TRY to add just a little more realistic persona of gay relationships. They can do that and it still be a good drama... Just one person's thoughts.
You're the first person I heard this... honestly I think the first season was the real disaster xD
You're very welcome. And, it's no big deal on the chapter. I probably won't go back and read it. That part was just too disturbing for me. But, always take care of you, and if you ever need an addition to your support system, I'm hear with an ear (always ready to just listen)....

First, Let me say, that i'm truly sorry for what happened to you. I hope you are well and have a good support system. Now as for the story and novel, I agree with you about the love between two imperfect people in a very imprefect fictional world...that's a pretty good saying. But, in Addicted, I don't recall where BYL rapes GH???? Is that in book 1? I know BYL finally tops GH in Book 2 starting around chapter 26 going into 27. Was that the scene you were referring to??? Do remember approximately where in either Book 1 or 2 that that happened? Because, I totally missed that.
