Because during the rescue, the Crown Princess was talking about how to survive, you have to be crazy in the palace and etc. And she was saying how she was a winner only because she was cruel and etc. And that's why Fu Rou is gonna die and she's gonna win. Chumu comes to save Fu Rou but tricks the Crown Princess by throwing her son (which is the Crown Prince) into the air (it was fake, but still). So perhaps the censorship part thought it was too insane. Because if you can literally just throw a royalty and "kill" them like that, then it's kinda messed up.
Yeah, they should've shown how they cleared the misunderstanding. I don't remember why
Everyone if you guys have time and feel like at least getting better closure with the drama, I recommend you read…
Thank you for reading, C-K drama11!! I actually asked the Huanyu representative why they cut so much towards the end. So apparently, it's because they used a real dynasty with real historical people (The Tang dynasty). China felt like there were too many evil characters and schemes towards the end and said they have to cut it. So that's why all the "schemeing" stuff was cut or modified. They didn't even explain the relationship between Yu He and Concubine Yan. She said apparently China felt that if the Emperor had so many evil people by his side, it would mean he has no taste/blind/foolish/stupid/and etc. In the future, they'll most likely just make up a dynasty so it's not based on history.
Tell me about it! I was like, wait what? Why is he embracing her all of a sudden? They just skipped the whole…
You can read from the beginning too! But starting from chapter 80 onwards, there are many scenes that are not included in the drama. So if you want to know what happened in between episode 46-47, I suggest starting from chapter 80 (and read to the end). But if you are patient, then start from the beginning! :)

The novel is better than the drama (in my opinion). You can read all the internal thoughts of the characters, which the drama cannot show. You can read it https://www.wuxiaworld.com/novel/court-lady
The original title was 大唐女儿行。Feng Nong is the author. I would start reading from chapter 80 until the end. The drama removed so much... the novel will be finished after the final episode is released tomorrow on youtube.
You guys need to read the novel because after chapter 46, the drama just skipped SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many scenes!!! I'm on chapter 52 and it's super confusing because they cut out so much. (Luckily I read the novel LOL).
I think the drama cut out all the Fu Shui and Prince Zhou scenes -_-". Not sure if it will come up later since…
Actually, Prince Zhou is only a chess piece. His mother did a lot of stuff behind his back and he only found out later on. You have to read the novel since the drama skipped a bunch of stuff. He only knew it was part of his mother's plan when he saw Fu Shui entering the palace pretending to be a doctor. He doesn't actually want the throne unless the Emperor himself gives him the job.
Sigh this drama suffers from really bad editing. Prince Han had wanted to kill Crown Princess, although she commited…
But in the drama, it says she committed suicide. So it's a bit weird. I recommend reading the novel! The entire rescue mission was removed from the beginning of episode 47.
What happened with crown princess left me unsatisfied due to the cut scenes. The only thing good about her is…

The drama cut a lot of scenes near the end... I would recommend you to read the novel, guys! We're not done yet, but I just watched episode 47 and they skipped a bunch in 46 and 47. Originally, the Crown Princess was going to kill Fu Rou. The whole rescue missing was cut from the drama. You guys need to read the novel to see what happened. There were also scenes with Prince Zhou and Fu Shui that were cut too. And a bunch of dialogue between the Crown Prince and Fu Shui.
This is the link!! <3 let me know what you think of the novel! I personally find it much more touching. But the drama does a better job at preparing you for the scenes.
I feel sorry for a lot of the characters from the novel, but not when I was watching. Haha
Umm they do fix their misunderstandings before the last episode. I can't remember which chapter exactly, but Chumu still loves her. He saves her from getting killed and she saves him too (with the pill that she got from the priest. Remember how she got 2? One of them was given to Grand Prince Liang.) But I can't remember exactly when. Fu Rou keeps getting into situation where she almost dies (like every few chapters). Also, ppl keep trying to kill her too.
It is due to rumours spread about the assassination attempt on the crown prince, the Empress used this as a warning…
The novel is really good. It is heartbreaking, but very touching too.
The misunderstandings are frustrating, and the deaths are sad, but it's written very well. It's different in the drama, since you don't know what they're thinking.

Here's the chapter! Chapter 80.1's scene was also completely removed from the drama too.
