“So Rak-hyeon turned upside down with the appearance of a nine-tailed fox! But is the nine-tailed fox a girl? Se-poong (Kim Min-jae) and Eun-woo (Kim Hyang-gi), feeling something suspicious, decide to investigate the case. Meanwhile, Shin-Woo (Jung Won-Chang), who has been appointed as an inspector in Sorak-Hyeon, starts looking for a person named Yoo Se-Yeop.”
so far it's been fun - love the dynamic between the leads, no toxic behavior and actual respect. I would prefer…
Same. I love the dynamic between the leads.
I think the court stuff is gonnna come back into play here & there. Given that they haven’t figured out who killed the King-proved who did it. And the current King (his friend) needs his help.
It shifts between various tone very well - humor, melodrama, serious, light hearted, & it’s quite emotional.…
You’re welcome! For a historical drama it’s very easy to watch. It’s not your usual court palace drama so the politics aren’t too heavy but plays a key part shifting the story on a grander scheme.
It has a slice of life-healing type of narrative. You’ll meet lots of charming characters.
I was gonna start watching this, just how much comedy is in there?
It shifts between various tone very well - humor, melodrama, serious, light hearted, & it’s quite emotional. The humor is great. It’s not overbearing at all. It’s also fast paced-straightforward & eventful.
Who is surprised? Korean men are sooooo misogynistic. One of the problem I have with this drama is how unrealistic…
Right. That’s the beauty of fiction. I’m from the states and it’s racist, misogynistic, & ableist but do I want every media I watch constantly filled with racist, misogynistic, & ableist characters? HECK No. It would be too insufferable to watch. There’s needs to be a balance because decent good people exist. And marginalized communities deserves nice things. Even unicorns & rainbows.
