I'm at episode 23, and I love the FL, absolutely adore her - but I don't know why, the ML is just not compelling…
I felt the same way lol. When I first watched the first few ep. I could not warm up to LBY at all. I adore SS & ZLS as the FL.
During & after the Hua County arc, he sort of grew on me. Behind that stoic exterior he seems like a very chill & caring guy. He’s definitely not the most interesting but I think he has some charms (in a nuance way)
I don’t have an issue with him being a competent general. As long as he’s not a crown prince, I’m good lol.
Personally not a Leo Wu fan but I think I like him here more than other projects he’s in.
I am still a huge advocate for this drama, but I was a bit disappointed with the most recent episodes. And I am…
I don’t have an issue JH written as a simple ordinary guy. The juxtaposition between YW & JH and to show an ordinary (NT) person in relationship to an autistic person is intentional. Given that this drama is YW story first & foremost.
My only gripe is JH is written too idealistic to an extent that it’s unrealistic even in a fictional context because he’s not given development. It’s like he’s looking at the world & people through flowery lenses. He understands it’s hard to love YW because she’s autistic but he can’t figure out why others dislike or disapprove his relationship with YW when it’s because she’s autistic. It’s also never addressed either. JH can’t happily love his way into a relationship. You have to talk about it and we rarely see YW & JH talk about anything (outside of work & whales).
I haven’t reached Ep 20 yet. I’m trying to finish up so I can start part 2 😆
Right! I watched this as it aired back in July but I had other things to watch so I put this on hold. Now I’m trying to binge it. I want to get in the fun with part 2 😆
I remember watching this drama for the 1st & was completely flabbergasted by the ending. 😭Never moving on. It’s one of those drama that leaves an impression on you.
Superb cinematography, directing from acting & music. Even the editing. It’s well executed! Great cast too.
SS saying she wants to live a simple peaceful life with LY & not marry a general but little does she know that’s what’s going to happen?? OMG 🤣😆😆 Talk about jinxing yourself lol.
Y’all should really check out the OG Manhua if you enjoy this drama!
Ashina Sun is alright here but he’s even better in the comics. Plus he has more personality & isn’t a know-do it all. Chang Ge story arc is better in the comic too.
SS reading erotic love stories to study about love with LY 😆😆😆😆
But she’s right. Why can’t there be scrolls about women building things & walking side by side as equal with men! She’s truly a girl ahead of her time!✨😤
I’m a fan of mother & the handmaiden. Judging from the trailer it might veer off a bit makjang but it’s good that it’s only 12 ep. Y’know it’s going to be full of twist.
Plus we got a women director & writer for this joint so that’s really neat!✨
Episode 4 was more tense as the stress hit closer to home! I’m liking Eun Woo more as she displays an insightful…
Yes. EW is very insightful. She knows how to read situation well & ask questions/enthusiastic about learning. I like how she process info & use it to her ability.
YASS!! We beat Start-Up!So sorry to hear that you couldn't stick with it. This is my favorite drama this year.
I watched it during its 1st 2 week when it went on aired. Wasn’t too keen with the overall acting-direction or the dialogue. But The production design and costumes are really nice & colorful.
But as for now I think he’s fine. I honestly didn’t like him much when I started watching the earlier Ep lol.

(*note: Have not yet pass Ep 20)

True but I suppose she likes those roles.
Onward to Ep 5 ✨
I think it’s the most commented kdrama so far.
Welp it didn’t tug my interest very long unfortunately - dropped it at Ep 3. But glad y’all having fun ✨
