For character development not just individually but their relationship too & add more depth to their relationship that goes beyond work-whale talks. (JH not being too idealized & YW express things when it hurts) if they are serious being in a long term relationship.

They haven’t been dating long-on a serious term but JH seems serious about YW & YW genuinely likes him.

Whether they end up together or not it’s up to the writer. I just wanted to see for once an adult couple work things out like an adult couple & not avoid things wherea break up - temp separation is a solution.

YW has always been frank & JH always open to listen to her, it would’ve been nice to see that. Absolving it to a breakup/temporary separation is a scenario that’s been played out many times in romance drama.
