Mong Woo really is a special person to Lee In. The way no one can enter the Yeongchwijeon but Lee In & Mong Woo two lol. Court Lady Dong is mad as hell 🤭

Hee Soo felt betrayed because he didn’t help her when he said he would. He said he would come back to help Mong Woo so not helping confused/anger her. Plus the death of her friend, (granted it wasn’t his doing) but she died in the process being sent to the labor work.

Lee In really believed that Mong Woo betrayed him with the false report.

I meant confront lol. I’m glad she confronted him about the false report. Now I’m wondering if Lee In truly believed that Mong Woo testify against him because I feel like his anger towards Mong Woo is about this too. And he’s angry at himself for not doing enough to help Mong Woo.

How I see it, I think she’s just using Myung Ha for her plan lol. But yeah his father was the reason they got capture & beaten. I’m curious about her overall revenge plan. And maybe her resentment will subside?

Yeah that hug lasted longer than it should but I’m sure it was done as a stylistic choice from the directors for dramatic appeal lol. But I also see it as her allowing that hug because she’s using him.

Because the those two know each other so people aren’t going to think much of it. Just pals being pals lol. But since Lee In is jealous lol he might not think otherwise. Although Myung Ha is a dodo one like if you’re going to help her don’t hug her like you like her as a woman lol. He has way of ruining things 😒

I don’t see Hee Soo as dumb. Naive & messy for sure lol. But she’s like Lee In playing chess. Now that she gotten into the court, she has to play it like everyone else. She noticed that Lee In had people tailed her that night. She also knew that Myung Ha forged that fake report against Lee In. She knew how to appease the Queen Dowager & Lee In without getting the Queen hurt in the process. Granted Lee In had already caught on what she was doing. Although she is only seeing things through a small scope since she doesn’t have all the details, she would need to be extra careful.

Lee In is an intriguing character. Most of the time, kings in historical dramas aren’t presented with the same nuance detailed qualities (the intelligence & commanding presence) like Lee In so it’s really fun to watch him!

‘A friend who trusts and relies on you, A friend you want to and must protect at all costs, The kind of friend that gives your life meaning, If such a friend loses their life to a wrongful death, one may go mad’ This dailogue is so good! Lee In referring to himself. Losing Mong Woo thinking he died must’ve tore Lee In inside those 3yrs. I love all the conversations/baduk scenes of Lee In & Mong Woo. I hope there is more scene of them playing baduk.

Court Dong is not going to like Mong Woo very much lol. She is definitely someone to watch out for. Guard Sanghwa notices that Lee In headspace is preoccupied with Mong Woo lol.

I’m still curious about Hee Soo’s revenge plan & her end goal. I’m glad she’s realized Myung Ha forging that fake report. Seems like she’ll be using Myung Ha lol. Also that hug scene at the end. Lee In is foaming with JEALOUSY lol. He can no longer deny his feelings that’s for sure lol.
