I’ve only read what’s been translated in ENG from last year so about 28ch. Because they erased bu yeong & mr goh, which is a huge part not only to Jeong Nyeon story arch (development) & relationship, it’s an important aspect of the story touching subject such as misogyny, cross dressing, queer identity & feminism. (Not sure if they’ll include Mr goh backstory if they fused parts of Mr Goh with Ok Gyeong in the drama?) in terms of the complex struggle of stardom I’m not too sure? Jeong Nyeon has various struggles in the Webtoon throughout but I didn’t read that far to the end Since it’s in Korean.

Yes. Thats a detail that I like. She works under the sun all day. She’s not going to have white perfect skin. She also has moles on her face. And she dresses different-not wealthy compared to the other well off ladies. Kim Tae Ri is so cute with her messy short hair. She’s like a chicken 😆

1st Ep is very solid! Great production overall from acting, direction, cinematography, music, costume design, set, etc. This drama knows what its wants to be from the get go. I could tell the people behind this show are passionate & put a lot of work with intricate details. Movie level-high quality immersive show. Love the progression & character development already. Kim Tae Ri is cute as a button. Her portrayal of Jeong Nyeon is a joy to watch. From her diction to her pansori. Her singing is top notch! Her physically acting is always awesome. The rest of the cast is great too. Really nice chemistry. Jeong Nyeon & Jeong Ja sister relationship is so precious. Their scenes towards the end made me cry. I love the mentor & mentee relationship between Jeong Nyeon & Ok Gyeong. Jung EunChae plays Ok Gyeong very nicely. Charming & dashing. Super handsome to look at lol 😍
