I love the 1st ep! YW is so cool & cute. Love the way she tackles things her way & learning new things. Her love for whales & her room is so awesome. Iām happy that there arenāt complete a-holes in the show. I like YW dynamic with the characters so far. Iām glad MS apologized & recognized his attitude. I hope he will be a good mentor to YW. JH is such a nice guy like - super nice sweet guy. YW father is THEE best father & DGM is a very good friend.
PEB is doing a great job. And the cast is great too with likable characters. Really great dialogue. The directing & camera work is very clean. Even the animations. Great sound/bgm that matches the mood & sets the tone. The setting choices & set design is nice - from her room, the law building, her personal office, the kimbap store, restaurant. Yes, it would be nice to see characters with autism have all sorts of relationship like love & friendship in stories like these. It just that romance in kdrama are kind of meh to me but if itās well written then Iām all down for it.

I'm not against romance but a poorly constructed romance kills the mood of the story for me. If writers can't write romance well, it's best not to have it. That's why I said I prefer a well written story. I also love a well written relationship-friendship between lead characters.
Yes it was! Very heartwarming. Saw it in 2019 & I teared up. I noticed that the writer for that film is the screenwriter for this drama so Iām excited. This is the writerās 1st drama.
I hope people look forward to this drama & not just think about romance. Not everything has to have romance in it. I prefer a well written story than a poorly constructed romance. I can definitely see a strong friendship brewing based on the trailer alone. I think it will be a heartwarming & exciting story.

The whole courtroom scene in Ep 8 was completely pointless. MR was late to the courtroom session & didnāt bring in the evidence? Like she should be prepared already & present the stuff on the spot. But nah - letās have GC swoop in to bring in the evidence like a knight in shiny armor? He didnāt even need to be in the scene but the writer just wants SJ & GC to have a googly eye momentš.

Like the writer just went & made SJ to be a poor pitiful soul with shitty family shitty ex-boyfriend who also has a shitty family & now the whole daughter thing. Kind of annoyed with the direction is the story is taking. Itās basically rinse & repeat. SJ getting into trouble then getting out of trouble. Her law students is playing Scooby Doo most of the time. I almost forgot GC was even a key character in the story. I could careless about the bland-poorly constructed romance or stupid love triangle. YS liking SJ??? Why is that even a thingš.
Final Verdict - If anyone is interested in watching, itās not worth spending hours chugging through 8 episodes unless your a huge SHJ fan. Thereās literally NO character development so far whatsoever. The major draw in for this drama is SHJ acting but other than that, it doesnāt even feel like a law drama. Everyone acts like a wannabe detective. I was expecting for more courtroom shenanigans.
Iāll just wait for Extraordinary Attorney Woo. That looks like a courtroom drama without all the unnecessary makjang stuff & badly written romance.
