Will Son Seok Koo return? That’s what I want to know 😌.

The portrayal of female friendship, rivalry, and relationship here is probably one of the better ones I’ve seen in kdramas.

The writer made it seems like YJ was the busy one with work only. YJ doesn’t have a life outside from HD. He didn’t have any friends or have any side hobbies. He made his work about & revolved around HD majority of the time. But now he can’t simply talk to HD who he had a 2 yr romantic relationship with & knew for 4 years?

HD is busy too? She travels overseas, goes to training camp almost everyday, attends seasonal games and she’s supposed to be in college by this time but the writer doesn’t even show us that she’s attending school-college life or studying? 🙃 Yet she married some no-face guy also busy with work & travels? 🙃

NJH said YJ would’ve been more of the ‘tsundere’ type lol. If YJ was the typical cold-shoulder reserve ML for 16 ep straight, I would be rolling my eyes lol.🙃😒 He would be unbearable to watch.

The relationship between Mr Gu & MJ is mutual. They both decided to do this “worship” together. MJ relates to him because she see that he doesn’t feel whole just like her. Instead of choosing someone who is, she chose someone that she can relate to on a personal level. They’ve only spoken to each other & share small talks and ate together in silence. There isn’t anything inherently bad about it?

Mr Gu is an alcoholic, but it doesn’t hinge his ability to work his job with the dad or disrupt eatings at the family dinner. He isn’t crude towards MJ? I feel like he knows his boundaries very well. He hasn’t done or say anything off putting or been inappropriate to anyone either.

I also love the one about XY having two fist to serve instead of tea for LX when he asked if she wants to be his maidservant 🤣😆😌

XY wants to fight men not fall in love with them 🤣😎. She’s so cool.

Mr Gu & MJ have a very peculiar relationship. Is it a romance? A friendship? There’s definitely a mutual connection. It’s hard to pin point but it seems like they’ll find some sort of liberation in each other without any expectation.

It was marketed as a romance before the show aired. In the trailer, it says they fall in love at 25 and 21. The reason why it wasn’t marketed as romance when the show started airing & during because HD was a minor & YJ was an adult lol. Because technically he liked her when she was still in highschool. So they couldn’t just go around and say hey, this drama also has romance in it. 🙃 The actual romantic relationship-aspect happens only in the last 2 ep.

The imaginary breakup was unnecessary lol. They both could have said what they wanted to say in that diary at the bus stop. Because they both left on good terms, why would there be any regrets(about the argument), even after 20 years.

It was missed opportunity was not having or showing HD in college. If you’re going to show these characters adulting, having HD find a new circle of friends and going to college would have been befitting. HD was busy with fencing but isn’t she supposed to be in college too? Her mom chose a prestigious school for her yet we never saw that at all & she’s 21 by this time.

Like she’s busy with fencing & supposedly school but the writing made it seem like YJ was the only one super busy because of work. HD literally travels overseas for games & trains at the center. Also, did college worked out for HD, given that she wasn’t all that bright academically. We never see her study or do homework, even for highschool lol.

KTR herself even said that YJ had the biggest impact in HD’s life and that their relationship was important. So yes, I’d say his support is reminiscent of her father’s. Also, the whole age thing is sort of a mess because technically they both fell in love with eachother-started to date at 20 & 24.

My impression of her from the beginning is that she has a lot of insecurities & she doesn’t quite share her struggles or express herself in the way people truly understand her. Even her parents don’t understand her & think she’s bright & good kid. They also don’t really speak to their kids either. That’s why MJ express that she doesn’t love all parts of her siblings & feels sad for her dad.

Mr Gu should be in short shorts all the time 😏.

I’m talking about the presentation of their story. Because we’re introduced to some parts of these characters in a certain way only at the beginning. But as we keep watching each ep, their story & how they are in other parts unfolds bit by bit.

The storytelling is like an onion. It’s has layers. The more you peel off, the more you see what’s inside.

I’m like dude, you can’t just do that. 😒🙃

I’m surprised Mr Gu didn’t clocked the daylights out of him lol. Now his bottles are outside & CH is still adamant throwing it away.
