Might have to drop it (ep. 7). The acting is great and so is the story line but San Young as a character is just…
KEH writing tends to be more plot driven so it may feel like the characters are being moved by the plot.
SY character is important. Especially to the narrative, in regards to youth in current society (having multiple part time jobs, lack of money, internal struggle with herself, want a comfortable life/better job etc). I mean if she wasn’t the one possessed, the narrative (& story) wouldn’t have the same impact & nuance. In my opinion, she’s the most relatable character (aside the ghost part) out of the 3 main characters.
When was it implied in ep1? And forgetting things?
When she was going to jump off the bridge but decided not to. She had blurry vision.
I thought it was something to do with the ghost that was pulling her in to jump but after watching Ep 8, I think it has to do with her vision loss?
There are instances in the show she can’t seem to remember things. And judging from Ep 9 preview seems like she’s getting forgetful? I’m assuming it’s the ghost that’s latching onto her that’s making her forget things. She doesn’t remember ‘seducing’ HongS at the wedding party like Semi said 🤣 Even from the day at the aquarium shop. She doesn’t know how she got out the situation.
1. Gungmo was going blind and wanted the ghost to cure himself (I almost feel like it'd make more sense if he…
I don’t think HaeS was possessed? Seems like it’s just part of the dream sequence that is giving him the illusion that he did? When the ghost of darkness was approaching him.
The entire sequence of SY & HaeS from the car scene, HaeS subconscious state & SY saving HaeS is my fav part in Ep 8. Those scenes were cool. l’m glad they reconcile & work together again.🥺
So it seems like there are ghost(s) that is latching onto SY as one. That’s why it’s been impossible to get rid of it.
Nice to see SY & her mom & Semi bits. SY needs a break from everything.
Not sure how I feel about SY losing her vision. It was implied in the 1st Ep but I thought it had more to do with the ghost? If it’s hereditary, Prof Gu was losing his sight & wanted the evil ghost to fix it? 🤦♀️ SY also seems to be forgetting things as well.
HongS isn’t going to die. It’s Munchun who either dies or gets seriously injured?
Judging from Ep 9, there is a clue in a book? Is it referring to the story of the two sisters who let go of their grudge & passed on to heaven in Ep 1? The story that Prof Gu told SY as a kid.
The ghost(s) in SY is getting rid of people from finding out who it is but it also wants to find the objects?
KEH chose the Daenggi as the main prop because it was identifiable & she is a fan of the color red. KEH wrote Revenant in contrast to Kingdom because it was about the interest in occult amongst people. https://twitter.com/taeri_yeosin/status/1680929746585264128?s=46
The scene of SanYoung living through what the evil spirit experienced as a child was intense and she made it so…
The rain scene with SY & HaeS is so good. The way he stood distraught & frozen. His whole worldview crumbling before him & SY who angrily lashes out destroying his car 😭🫠 He understood SY anger because he also felt the same way.
HaeS patience & calm demeanor and empathy has always been some of my favorite traits of him as a character. Plus, he’s a good listener. ☺️
HongS just watching it all play out from inside of his car like wth is going on 🤣
SY & HaeS going through a major crisis 😭 Tragic ghostbusting duo. KTR & OJS acting in Ep 7 🔥especially their confrontation in the rain.
The way HongS is deadset not wanting to believe in ghost is so 🤣
I knew Yeom Family got rich off of black magic. They are crazy & complete garbage.
Seems like Prof Gu wanted the yeommae too? For his own personal gain? Or for something else?😰😱
KEH never kills off her main characters (at least from the dramas I watched so far) so what's up with the illness plot (I hope it's nothing serious or else I will riot. Maybe it's just a monthly checkup & whatnot.
Don’t kill off HaeS 😭🫠 Kill off his shitty family instead!
Also, SY & Semi dinner date under the night sky at her grandma's estate for ep. 8.🥺Soulmate things!💕

In Ep 9 preview, SY said she’s remembering less & less so hopefully it’s just because of that & nothing serious 😭🫠
Still worried about her vision 🤔

KTR says the convenience store scene of SY & HongS was memorable because it was warm & sweet within the evil spirit story.

The coin picking up scene was inspired by KEH’s husband highschool days.

SY thought of HaeS as a weird person when they first met.

KTR says that HaeS & SY relationship is like a team play. Although there wasn’t trust between the two early on. She said the team play of SY & HaeS is fun.

Yes, more SY & Semi moments. 🥺
The way they edit it looks like SY is saying that when SY & SM drank together 🤣 😒
We shall see tomorrow 🫠

Most definitely not.😅
When I say tame, I should have mentioned it doesn’t rely on blood-gore or too much jumpscare. There’s not much of it here.
Would not recommend for anyone under 13+. It’s probably fine for 16-18+ over.
Hopefully the song is released this week. It’s such a nice song.
