Yep. The dad is aware of the mom’s atttitude/behavior towards their kids, but he rather leave home & stay somewhere else and do nothing about it. 🤦♀️ I can’t stand the mom either. If your kid is afraid of you, then you messed up as a parent big time. 😒

I love KTR but I can’t compare since I’ve not familiar with JDY’s work. I do know JDY tends to do heavier & dramatic film-work & that she is considered a renown-well respected veteran actress in SKorea.
It’s really nice to see her in lighthearted romance drama like this.
I enjoyed today's ep. I love HS spirit. She is thee best mom. Love the mom & daughter relationship between her and HA. Seems like the drama is cramming very little genre into this show. And it works surprisingly lol. Although the mystery murder subplot is taking me out lol. I dont know whether I should laugh or be annoyed lol 😆 😒. The SD mom groupie is giving me Uncle vibes with a splash of Sky Castle lol.
Also, JDY’s stylist for this show should get a raise. HS looks amazing every time she’s on screen✨💖! JDY hits every emotional beat & her line delivery is sooo good.
Finally watched the show. Overall, I really enjoyed it. We got to learn about all the characters & not just the two leads. It makes the setting & story-world more developed-full. I also liked how technology is a key element of the education aspect & story. It really feels like it is set in 2023.
My only gripe is the mystery subplot thing that revolves around the psycho person lol. Was hoping for a pure romcom. But other than that, it’s fun & super easy to watch. I like that the humor isn't overbearing (just a good amount) & the dialogue is really good. The tone gives off family-slice of life vibes with a mix of romcom.
I really adore HS & JDY is doing a fantastic job portraying her! Spunky & high energy. When she said she wanted to cut CCY organs out 😂 with her knee jab. Her constant “Anyway” in English is so cute. I love her outfits/style. I love her relationship with her family & bestfriend.
Also the two main leads comedic timing is on point.✨
NHS & NHD gives off same vibes. Sporty, spunky, and takes no BS from people 😆.
