Yeah! It’s such a whiplash too because next year KTR will be super busy. The Demon will be airing in the 1st half of 2023 then Alienoid part 2 comes out in the summer which she’s going to promote for & then start filming for Jeong Nyeon right after if she gets this role. Insane. 🤩🔥✨☺️

Plus I get to watch 12-16 hrs of KTR. No more KTR drought lol.

Also, I love a good female rivalry that doesn’t involve a man & this one IS IT! And female characters with agency & goals. 😌

I’m trying not to read too much of the Webtoon (because I don’t like to compare mediums (since I want to be surprised by the drama) but reading spoilers on twitter -

These women were really ahead of their time!

This drama will be very special & unique since I don’t think a drama that focus only about women set in the 1950’s (post war Korea) exist? Where the entire cast is women/girls with queer themes. In a theatre troupe setting with all female characters! ✨☺️🤩

This one here will be female centric with an all female cast story.

Jeong Nyeon (the Webtoon) was also awarded by the Culture Ministry awards for bringing awareness & highlighting culture, gender equality, women.

This is a very good read.

That’s why it’s important to keep the themes in the Webtoon intact for a drama adaptation to its truest form while highlighting SK theatre culture in the 1950’s about women for women.

KTR worked in theatre production for a few years before her big break in the Handmaiden so seeing her as the FL in a theatre troupe with an all female cast will be awesome. ✨💖
