Yeah I agree. It’s probably why I can’t get into most xianxia. Or maybe I’m just not a fan of heavenly realm set ups lol. But I think I’ll give this a try if the production & script is good. The final cast already looks nice!

I’m not sure but maybe it’s similar to taking a test for a state job in the US? Like it could be for a specific job but in Korea I think there’s diff level of exams. I’m not sure what job GSY is studying for.

Im sure it’s set in the present. Unless the demons stuff has some sort of historical context.

She’s a made up character for the drama series. Her character doesn’t exist in the manhua that’s why her arc seems out of place lol.

BR doesn’t seem like he has ridiculous fanatic fans. Whoever hates Lusi because of a role she gets then they are 💩😒

He may have more experience (mostly in films) but Lusi can definitely carry a drama on her own.

JBR may be 10 yrs older than her but Lusi has done a romance drama with a much older (looking) actor than him before.

JBR really has that romantic aura about him as a ML. I think he will do fine here. Xianxia is really new genre for him. Lusi is going to do great! If there’s any action sequences, Lusi will be 🔥🔥🔥 as always.
