I watched halfway but dropped it. If you want something that doesn’t take itself too seriously & have nothing else to watch then yes. It has romance, some nice character development, but a bit over the top.

It’s popular nowadays. But yeah I agree. Narrative wise, makjang tends to be too over the top, boring & safe lol. It’s like everyone just wants to do rich makjang or either law stuff.

This reads more like a supernatural occult like the Guest (2018) while hard creature is a Sci-fi thriller in a period backdrop.
I really hope this is in the present. I want to see Tae Ri in 2022-2023 storyline lol 🤞.
Male Actors tends to look boring & dress too conservatively but his stylist crew makes him look really good 🔥🔥🔥. You can tell his stylists really likes to make him look top notch. Leo stands out in the fashion look department.

Yep. I feel like xianxia tends to have simple story and characters. It’s just bombarded with LOTS of characters & cultivation terms/jargon that makes it seem more complex than it actually is. I don’t like full CGI settings all that much. That’s why I don’t watch xianxia.
But if the script & production is good then I’ll give it a try.
