Yeah. It’s like they wanted to mix old with the new directing style and it’s jarring to watch visually. It’s almost like a whiplash lol. It’s an odd choice to do.

Took me by surprise too. But seems like he’s having a blast in recent years playing more low key and fun roles which is nice.

This is basically my thought lol. I understand they wanted to replicate that early 2000 kdrama essence but it feels outdated for a 16 Ep kdrama with a cast like this in 2022. It only works for a 50+ ep family sitcom. And the music omg lol.

They should really tone down the dramatic music lol.

If they already announced s2 without s1 airing yet, the production team must be really ambitious + positive about the project. Hope it’s really good.

Yes she was sooo cool! I love her style and witty mannerism. Plus she fights really awesome. BFX made me a Lusi fan. I watched her in TLB & liked her acting but BFX really made me see how much potential Lusi has. Her facial expression & physicality is unmatched 🤩✨💖🔥

Would love to see her more in a non-romance action-oriented historical wuxia drama or modern thriller.

He doesn’t look old. JBR looks around YY age look wise. Plus Lusi has a mature appearance in hanfu-wear dramas.

She did a romance with an actor way older (looks older) than JBR before.

Honestly I like to see her with new faces in c-dramas than with the same popular actors.

Yeah it doesn’t matter how long these actors been in the industry. If they can’t act well then they can’t act well. Which is funny because you’d think they improved over the years being in the industry that long. Personally I’m not a fan of SHK because her acting. Same could be said for LMH. New gen of actors are killing it with less years of experience.

But yeah I tend not to watch stuff for the actors unless it’s someone I’m a huge fan of but even that, the show & story/acting/ directing etc. has to be good & engaging.

But this one seems fun. It’s like isekai-reincarnation plots of anime & c-dramas 😆.
