Oh wow, thank god I'm not the only one who feels this way. I was so excited for How Dare you, but I just could not continue, and had to drop at episode 6. The comedy felt so forced and not to my taste at all. I think I was subconsciously comparing it to ADWAD. I realized how important comedic timing is and I appreciate Liu Yuning and Li yi tong so much for how funny ADWAD is. There are genuinely so many rolling on floor laughing moments in this drama and the whole cast does a great job. The nightwalkers and Liu shili made it EPIC. After dropping How dare you, I started rewatching ADWAD again for the umpteenth time and I still laugh at all the jokes every single time. This is one of my favorite Cdramas of 2025.

I can never ever hate wangquan hong ye. His character is so complex and he had reasons for everything he did, and no one can question his love for dong fang huai zhu. Fell in love with Leon zhang's portrayal of his character.

I knew it was a sad ending and I still cried for 3 days straight after watching it. I cried buckets while watching from episode 31 onwards, but trust me it is worth the tears. Wangquan Hong ye and dongfang huai zhu are legendary charcters.
The ML is so cute, but it's a bit off putting how the FL is too forward in chasing the ML. Like asking his phone number and then randomly telling him she wants him to tell her about every part of his day and get to know him, asking about his gf.. I probably would have liked their interactions too be more organic. Rather than her chasing him like this.
I LOVE this series!! Its star studded with so many gorgeous male actors, especially all those vertical drama MLs. I can't remember the last drama I watched with this level of reverse harem. Almost every male character (exc Bai yisheng) is completely obsessed with the FL. I know that people will say its because of the "rong" fortune and power, but I really don't think its just that. At so many points in the series, be it Yang, He, Wen, Steward Cheng and even Yan...they have all exhibited PROPER desire for the FL. HE's obsession for RSB was a thin line between love and hate. Even in Yan's case, in episode 29, LJL said that Yan wanted to take revenge against RSB. But I totally believe Yan when he said that he had true feelings for RSB. His initial motive of revenge turned into love for RSB. The funniest thing is I can totally believe why they are all crazy about RSB. Gulnezer's face card, portrayal and AURA as RSB is amazing. Even LJL has low key turned a bit obsessed with all those empty threats against rong family & tea plantations in episode 29. At this point, he's forcing himself on FL and I am ALL for it. He refuses to be discarded by her. I hope they give us a lot of love between LJL & RSB in last few episodes.. they both deserve a happy ending.
