my heart aches for jiang mu this entire episode, imagine waiting for the person you love for more than six years and he never wants to see you again.
everyone around you, father and friends, lying to you about him not visiting. you try every ounce in your heart to move on but can’t.
i get jin zhao and the pain he went through was excruciating, the thing he should have realised is that jiang mu was ready to be with him, willing to be by his side no matter what. but he thought he’d be a burden and broke up with her.
if you truly loved someone as much as they loved you, then you’d know they would love you no matter what.

technically not break up, but due to him getting in a car accident as someone tampered with his racing car. he looses his leg and has to get it amputated, and then jiang mu finds out her mother is battling with a severe illness and is recieving treatment.
so her step fathers asks her to come to canada to be by her mums side, she leaves bc she hasn’t seen her in a year.

jin zhao and mumu aren’t blood related. they just grew up together under the same household, as mumu father adopted jin zhao bc his parents died.
he was adopted prior to mumu being born!
