in my opinion this show was a massive wasted potential!
yes I dont mind slow burn romance dramas but this was like watching two people on a seesaw who can't come to a conclusion, the plot was dragged and 12 episodes even felt like too much.
wasted the chemistry between the leads, the budget of the drama in travelling to such countries.
this show has a deeper meaning. if you are expecting it to be a fluffy romcom then it’s not the one for you.
however i understand where a lot of people are coming from, the trailers didn’t even show an ounce of it being this dark and now that i’m nine episodes in i understand cha munhee and her character.
she’s a complex character who bares a lot of burden and trauma, and is afraid of losing loved ones once they find out the truth.
i’m only on episode 2 and can say that this drama is top tier in terms of comedy, romance and slight mystery.
bc those edits of chen xingxu have me on a chokehold, like i been knew this man was fine and charming.
