even after loosing one episode, the last few episodes are all 39 minutes long.
when the average episode should’ve been around 43-45 minutes. they cut a lot from this drama which is so annoying. no wonder the plot felt empty and had so many major pot holes.
i mean they’re literal wedding didn’t even feel like a wedding, i saw reuters of them saying their vows and promising to be together for a lifetime yet it wasn’t even shown on the final episode.
the one thing i dislike about jin zhao’s character is why are you making decisions for jiang mu.
why are you assuming that this is what jiang mu would’ve done if she had found out about everything. even in manshi, it took him so long to tell her the truth and yes he wanted to protect her but she didn’t learn about what he was doing from him until he finally told her the full truth.
even in the present six years later that is something he refuses to do, well not until she’s learnt everything and faces the pain emotionally and then he decides this is the right time to tell her.
bc telling the woman you dearly love that this is what happened, and ask what she’s willing to do isn’t that hard. bc we all know what jiang mu would’ve done, if you actually told her the truth instead of her having to find out herself.
the old jin zhao would hate to the new jin zhao.bc wdym you just said that absolute heartbreaking line to the…
and i’m not saying he hadn’t gone through anything, he was and still is going through a lot physically and mentally.
but he needs to improve his communication, one simple explanation from him and jiang mu would’ve understood. instead he keeps his mouth shut and she has to learn everything by herself.
rather than facing it with someone by his side, he chooses it’s best to face it alone. which i understand, but with mumu now by your side it wouldn’t be that hard to explain to her???
bc wdym you just said that absolute heartbreaking line to the girl who loves you deeply in ep 25 trailer, “ the sun shines by day, the moon by night. taking turns, never meeting again.”
jin zhao never once bothered to ask jiang mu what she would do, we all know jiang mu would’ve never left his side. but he assumed he wasn’t worthy and decided to leave her. and even six years later that’s what he’s trying to do as he assumes that’s what is best between them.
in those six years, jiang mu relentlessly tried to make amends, she tried to still be by his side despite being half way across the world. but jin zhao took that for granted and decided that they should break up and then further never wanting to see her again. making everyone lie to her on his behalf.
atp i’m playing all the recent episodes on 2x, bc im tired of seeing jiang mu being the one to initiate every interaction between them.
if you were in jiang mu’s position in these two episodes, what would you have done? fight for the love of someone who believes he isn’t worthy of you, continuously hiding the truth from you and leaving you to find everything out for yourself or just move on.
