I agree with you, and I would like to do something, anything, to stop the unfairness of this situation, not just about the drama but the actors, directors, TV network, and everyone that is being attacked as part of a production team for Joeson Exorcist and Mr. Queen. Other than petitioning Netflix to pick up the drama, what else do you think we can do; any ideas, anyone?

I find it so sad that the actors have to apologize for a fictional work of art to save their careers. I am all for apologizing for your wrongdoings but to attack them for doing their jobs seems overboard. Somebody should do something about this, voicing concern, even criticism of something you don't agree with is one thing, but what they are doing now seems quite personal, cruel, and quite close-minded. They are looking to ruin innocent people's livelihoods; how is this part of preserving history in any way, shape, or form.

yeah, I'm not on there anymore either I actually started my own drama review blog check it out when you get a chance and it's been a blast setting it up and actually doing it. I never imagined I would but thank you to many of the kind souls I met on dramacool who suggested I do :)

Right but that's why the have the warnings that clearly note the drama is a work of fiction, in big bold letters so it's not confused for a documentary

Right and not just zombies, vampire like living corpses ... were we watching the same drama; oh, sorry it was apparently a documentary and we missed the memo

It's the accepted norm I guess, which is despicable. I am so miffed about this I can only imagine how the whole production team and actors feel.

I just made the very same “documentary” comment before reading yours.

I agree with you, but even as Argo was criticized for its inaccuracy, it was praised for the acting, directing, and editing. The film received seven nominations at the 85th Academy Awards and won three for Best Picture, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Film Editing. So, yes, criticize all you want but demanding the show be canceled, a fictional one that never claimed to be based on actual events, that is at a completely different level. It's akin to censorship, if you ask me. What kind of message does this send not just to writers and filmmakers in Korea but to the world, especially as SK starts garnering the international attention it so clearly deserves in filmmaking and acting.

No disrespect intended, but this wasn’t a documentary; I can understand the reaction if it were. It was never going to be accurate. A work of fiction never is; I mean, are they saying evil spirits/vampire-like living corpses were running around in the Joseon dynasty; is that the accurate part; I mean, come on; it feels a bit much to take a petition of cancellation to the Blue House for a show, a fictional one might I add. I'm dumbfounded. How is it these very same viewers never react the same way to the overt abuse, be it emotional, physical, or sexual, and the vileness in some of these dramas; I am sure most of it, if not, is depicted from real-life scenarios around the country. Come to think of it, were there any shows canceled because of that; I wonder. Very sad indeed at many different levels but on a personal one the most. I was so into this drama. I am going to need a very, very long minute to process this for sure!
